Did they give any information on the delay in development? I noticed that they're also been working on another project , something "Magnolia", is that the main reason?

It was a technical issue that led them to put the game on hold indefinitely, IIRC the version of RPG Maker they were using had a limit of 999 maps and the way they were developing the game was to use a lot of maps per event and ended up hitting the limit before been close to finish. There was a post on their CI-en where they explained trying a bunch of different plugins to circumvent the issue but couldn't find one that worked.

It was quite sad TBH, art was good and it seemed like it was going to be a very long and complex game, hence the use of a lot of maps (althought they did say they could've handle the use of maps better had they know about the limit)

Also around that time one of the developers had a really bad back injury that required surgery and couldn't work so much (recently started recovering).

All in all a bunch of unlucky circumstances that really amazes me they are still making another game after having to leave this one.

Well from the latest post seens 1 of the devs health has improved, hopefully they find a solution easier than moving the whole game to another engine (wich may take longer unless there is an easy way to do it)

But yeah the abandoned scared me, i even tought it was a late april's fools joke.

Their ci-en has an update from 3 days ago and there have been consistent updates at least once a month for the past 6 months. Maybe the qualifications for the "abandoned" tag need a bit of work.

Its a shame, the writing had some punch, even the demo had more work put into it that most of the shit that gets released nowadays.
Hope they come back to it at some point

Pretty sure that's not the case, otherwise we'd see a Ci-en article mentioning the release and DLsite store page. I think this is the over a year old fan translated preview build. Not sure if it received any meaningful updates since then. The Abandoned tag is merely a F95 rule.
