I decided to check this game out after some time away, I want to get to the new content. But after downloading the latest public version, I seem to get an error whenever I click out of the "phone" menu and not one that I can click ignore and go through, but one that I must rollback on, to like a screen or two before I used the phone. I did notice that saving does not get rolled back, luckily, but it'd be tedious to play.

Sorry if this was already addressed in the thread, I did click back a couple pages, but didn't see anything.

What version are you playing and on what device? Can you share a save file?

I am playing version 16.1.2, having downloaded that version first from here and then from your own site (trying just in case). I'm playing on a windows 11 laptop. I've attached the save file and the rollback/traceback text. I didn't have this issue with the last version I played which was 13.1 or something.

Thank you! I passed down the info and files to our developer. We'll try to fix this problem asap.

Hi i just started playing and I only have question. Why so little Tracer content???
She was the first character we added, back when we released our first demo, and she basically was the one to take a hit of all and every mistake we made as beginners in game development. We quickly realised how bad her story turned out to be and tried to use it as learning experience, while moving on to other routes. We didn't want to get back to her and try to remake the story right away, and instead focused on expanding the roaster of available romantic options, but now we are finally ready to give her the love she deserves and completely rework the entirety of her route, giving her a nice visual update in the process. Once we're done with currently ongoing stories, she will be the next on the line.

ZAHERA, INTRO UPDATE — $20 RELEASE

First of all, we spent way too much time working on this update banner. Just look at the details — even the sweat sliding down her abs is animated! Ever since we managed to get our social media guy out of the warzone and into safety, the quality of our memes and promo materials skyrocketed, and it's all thanks to you.

But sentiments aside, it is time to introduce muscle ladies into our game. Sure, you can argue that Brigitte is one of them, but does she have such refined core muscles? Just look at them! Inspect the every little detail, every curve and nuance. Enjoy it, savour it, because it's finally here!

Zahera will squish you alive in between her thunder thighs, but only if you are persistent enough to earn the right to die the most honorable death. She is tough, but more than that, she is afraid of letting people down, not being taken seriously, and so many more things, hidden deep down, behind that bratty persona. Maybe she just needs someone, who can listen, someone, who will comfort her and give that necessary push to overcome her insecurities. Or maybe, just throwing this wild idea out there, she might benefit from someone, who can put her in her place. A person tough enough to tolerate her presence.

If you expected her to go easy on you, too bad. This story is all about MUSCLE, BEING TOUGH, UNCOMFORTABLY WET AND AROUSED! The perfect kind of story.

BUT THERE'S MORE!

DVA, PART 5 — $2 RELEASE

There it is — a fitting conclusion to the story we started in July. And it's not just a regular update, oh no! This is a second major release in a row, even more tightly packed with spice, than anything you've seen in the past couple of months. Two new h-scenes, both heavily story-driven, and this time they both are rather "special". The more we work on this project, the more we try to pivot from things that might be considered too vanilla, and this is a big step towards expanding the range of available kinks you may find in our game.

On top of everything else, this is the penultimate update in DVa's storyline. Just one more, and her story will finally be concluded. Well, almost. There will still be quite a lot to look forward to, but it's a little too early for spoilers. You will see everything for yourself.

Right now, our main focus is to make sure we finish as many storylines as we can before starting a massive overhaul project for ACADEMY34. While we can't share any dates, we can say that the majority of backgrounds have already been drawn, new mechanics have been planned, outdated routes are in the process of being rewritten, and our artists are updating the visuals for basically every little element of the game, be that our clunky interface, or character designs. Who knows, maybe the season of changes is closer that you might think?

But enough of pointless fantasizing! It's time savour the spice, and the spice we have! Something more risky than usual, more... public. DVa prepared a very special present for her very special partner. A key to her heart, so to speak. A tender to the touch, and with a built-in vibration motor.

Will you accept her gift?

Who is Zahera? Another OC? Why does she look so much like Pharah? Couldn't this just have been Pharah?

Your question did not require a wall of text as a response, but I wanted to give a proper answer to explain the situation for anyone curious.

As the support for our game grows larger, it gets difficult to hide behind the excuse of being a parody game, so for the sake of seeing our project prosper, we are removing all mentions of the Overwatch from it. All of the existing characters from the Overwatch will be re-designed and renamed, though we will make sure to keep their looks as close to the inspiration as we can.

While we understand that it might be upsetting to some, we also want to ensure that we can continue our work for as long as we can, without legal hammer striking us at the most unfortunate time. The visuals of all updated characters will be kept close enough, so you can still easily recognize who they were inspired by, and we will also add an option to easily swap any character's name in the settings.

So, speaking plainly, Academy34 is transition to completely self-sustained original project, which we will update, polish and make into something, that people can play unironically, and we can put in our portfolio without shame. The funding we received from our supporters allowed us to be more ambitious about things we want to achieve, and we will return it by making sure that the project they paid for won't get erased at any random moment.

On top of all that, adding original characters instead of ripping them off from Overwatch allowed us to get around their existing canon. In Pharah's case, she is officially confirmed to be a lesbian, so by adding a romantic and sexual relationship between her and MC a lot of the fans of the original game might be rightfully frustrated. Now though, we can work around it, since we are not bound by stories created by someone else.

Is it safe to assume that the rework will require a restart of the game since previous saves won't work?

Not really. Though name changes might affect some functionality, simply due to how strange RenPy sometime works, it's not something we can't fix on our end. Redesigns won't affect your saves files at all.

That being said, we are planning an overhaul update for later this year / early next year, which will completely rework all of the existing locations, as well as the entirety of prologue, some quests, interface, etc. That update will undoubtedly require a fresh start, but there is still plenty of time before that happens.

Fair enough I guess, you do what you want. But from our perspective this really doesn't come off very clearly when you have a post advertising both a "definitely not OW character" and then just D.Va.

I'm pretty sure that there are copyright laws that would protect your work since it can be considered transformative much like there are YouTubers who are protected in such a way that as long as it's transformative, it is okay

That's just an awkward transition period. DVa's update was made before we started working full throttle on updating the names and designs, so some things like that are expected for a month or two, until we completely move on from OW characters.

While you are correct about our work being transformative enough to apply under a fair use condition, there's a catch: If big angry corporation decides to take action, they will send us a cease and desist letter first, which will most likely block our Patreon page right away, and after that we would have to start legal battle against them, trying to prove that it was, in fact, a fair use. That would take a long ass time and even more money. So instead we decided not to take our chances and just transition into being an original game.

Honestly I think this sort of situation has already been dealt with before with Something Unlimited. Before it was titled Injustice Unlimited I think but the name actually got mixed with the Injustice game and so the devs got into legal trouble but resolved the situation by just renaming the game. The game is even closer to the source material from Justice League unlimited, with any character from that show being almost a direct copy and paste look in the game. I'd honestly recommend talking to them about it because if they can get away with how close their game is, then you should be more than fine as is.

It is probably not problem with Blizzard, but requirement from business partners, like the adult toy manufacturer. Besides probably someone will make an uncensoring mod soon.
