I didn't look at it from that perspective, honestly. If he plays his cards right, the MC has more to gain from it than he has to lose.

Sombra could probably escalate the situation further by pulling a "Joke's on you, I'm into that shit" on Hana, and destroy any leverage she might have had with that video. Assuming of course she has the brains to do so. I mean, it wouldn't surprise me if Sombra has a bit of a Voyeur thing going on, since she has wiretapped the whole Campus and sells other people's nudes, so it would even have some truth to it.

However, the MC is in no real position to capitalize on that (unless Sombra makes the first move, as said above), since he is, to Hana's perception, in a relationship with Sombra, so simply answering "Bring it on" might seem a bit out of character for what appears to be a loving, considerate boyfriend. So it all depends on whether or not the MC is willing to crash the cover story, which probably wouldn't help Sombra getting her bed back.

You need to consider that neither girl is actually thinking rationally in this whole feud. Hana is willing to do anything to screw Sombra, Sombra is risking her whole future out of petty grudges. At the same time, both are, despite themselves, falling for the MC and neither girl seems to recognize what a healthy, loving relationship might even look like, so they´re both confused.

That is also true. Both are acting like a whole bundle of stupid, no debate, and I am reasonably sure we don't have the full picture of the room dispute. Like, on one hand I'm more inclined to believe Sombra, as Hana's arrogance and self-righteous attitude are apparent for anyone with a working pair of eyes, but on the other hand I get the feeling there is something she and Hana aren't telling the MC.

Like, instead of talking it out, or one of them asking to be transferred to another room, Sombra camps out in a tent/dressing room just because of her wounded pride (though given what we know of her, and her circumstances, asking for a transfer might not be an option), and Hana is, for some reason, holding a grudge so petty it would even make the most traditionalist Dwarf from Warhammer Fantasy say "Whoa there, girl. Slow down.".

The more I look at the whole affair, the more it seems the situation escalated simply because neither of the two wanted, or saw the need, to compromise with the other, which, in the end, piled up and lead us to the current state of affairs, with Sombra on the street and Hana, somehow still not satisfied, getting the MC to fuck her to wreck her happy "relationship".

He absolutely could.

However, in all of the game´s updates, the MC has proven himself quite an upstanding and altruistic person. I honestly can´t see him doing so by his own accord.

Now MCree, on the other hand? He almost certainly WOULD do this "favor" for his roomie. And then The MC would be all "WTF?!?", when Genji (and a few other students) prostrate themselves before him, asking "Master, teach me your ways".

Normally, I would agree with this point.

However, there is a piece of banter in the first part of Sombra/D.Va storyline. Basically, then the MC finds her sleeping by the fountain, they discuss the situation, At some point Sombra points out her inexperience in relationships, to which the MC retorts, surprised, something among the lines of "Wait. So are you saying you are a...?"

I will the first to admit that I might be COMPLETELY misunderstanding, but I honestly can´t interpret that as anything other than Sombra being a virgin, as unlikely as it sounds.

Probably correct.

Personally, I can´t see the MC's mindset anything other than "Protect Sombra", "Sort out Hana", "Defuse situation with minimum collateral damage", "Sleep with both of them".

Oh, we absolutely DON'T know what has happened between them. The story hasn´t revealed to us the players, and the girls refuse to tell the MC.

However, considering that Sombra *is* all about invading other´s privacy, I´d say that the most likely scenario is that Sombra started it (maybe by giving the MC the premium acess to Hana´s streaming?), and then Hana, well... to use your own terms, went full "Thats going into the Book!".

I´d go a step further and say that both girls don´t really understand the very concept of a compromise. To reach one, both sides must meet each other as equals, halfway, and talk.

But what they are doing is, as far as I can understand, a battle of dominance, one that has escalated WAY out of control.

Just finished playing through 10.2.5 and I loved every moment that D.Va was on screen. Her expressions when confronted by MC about his and Sombra's relationship was so fantastic and the only thing that made it better were her fans popping up like gophers. I wasn't expecting her to be recording her and the MC fucking and I'm definitely intrigued to see where this goes.

Also, I'm curious to see if it would be possible to eventually go into Sombra and D.Va's room after they've made up (created a peace treaty? a ceasefire? something?) and if we'd be able to enter more rooms later on. I don't expect it and it would almost be like the Tracer treatment, but it would still be interesting to see the inside of their room. Though, at the same time I kind of wish that was possible for other characters like Hanzo and Genji's room as well. One side is the room of a master kyuudo practitioner with trophies and medals and the other side is just loaded with body pillows and anime figurines.

Thanks for a heartwarming review!

Yes, in fact one of our planned additions is a Female's Dorm with rooms for all OW girls and some OC's. It's also one of our top priorities, because we want to add option to set up spycams there asap as well. Can't say the same about Male's Dorm yet.

Well that's good to hear. Can't wait to go into each room and see what they'll be set up like. Though I'm not super surprised that the Male's Dorm won't get attention for now since...porn game. I eagerly await the day I can the "end" of D.Va and Sombra's machinations but for now I will consume any new content that comes out for this game regardless of the characters featured!

I think you have to load the file, then save again using that file.
But I am not sure, I usually don't tinker with save files, and just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.
