went back and changed the girls names to what they were before. now I feel right about banging Mei and D. Va. even changed Widowmaker's back which required me to learn how to make the accent mark in her first name

Tweaked a bit with the new public version and an old version I luckly had (don't know why the archive was removed from the site) and compiled the names to import in the settings the same way they were before the rework.

Had to invert "Clyde" first and last name to mantain the joke of "Jesse". I don't know if it's possible to change the displayed name while mantaining the titles and names settings like before (for example all the instance in the previous versions where Hana was called as her online nickname D'Va). Anyway, if someone knows how to replace all the instance of Sentinel with Overwatch, like it was before, please let me know.

Not gonna lie, the whole beginning of the game is so outdated and bad — it really paints the wrong picture about the game.

That's why with our next update we plan to make things better with new route for Sonya and later this year a reworked route for Seraphina, because both of their routes AND game intro need to be brought up to the level of our latest content updates.

Sorry for this subpar experience, we promise to do better. And if you still want to give it a chance (thanks!) — the game indeed gets way better once you can start doing the routes of all the other girls. Reina x Ava is really eye-catchy both in terms of art and the story.

Here's a list of… suggested names *wink* for each of the characters, listed as they appear from top to bottom in the contacts menu:

I haven't played this game in quite some while (been too impatient for the name change update)—when did full-res sprites and CGs start getting locked behind the paywall? It's certainly an interesting monetization strategy, and I don't mind Y&N chasing that much-deserved bag, but also it is not nice to look at, yeesh.

We locked the high-res version behind a $2 paywall because our server capactities can't handle a 1gb game download for 40k+ players every public release. That's also why we removed the old releases archive.

It's not a monetization strategy, we really just started noticing that with every public release our site got basically ddos'd.

Also high-res is a bit of an overstatement. The base version uses the same resolution, but is optimized to take less space, so there is a slight loss in quality, but since our game is at 1066x600 resolution you won't notice a significant difference.

Is it just me or does it feel like academy 34 just entered into a new era of development, with presentation, professionalism communication and feed back, and content features and reworks, I don't know what magic sauce you guys stepped into recently but keep it up. I am actually quite proud watching you guys grow and develop and how genuine you guys feel. It is a breath of fresh air.

Yes, you will be given two separate warnings notifying that you're about to start male character's route. It's pretty hard to play through it on accident.

wow... young_naughty this might be the best game ive found on this website. the writing is incredible, from the story, the characters, the dialogue. each character is charming and likeable in their own unique way, the romance is perfect. on top of that the artwork and animation compliment it incredibly well. i love the aromantic and asexual representation as well, rarely if ever seen on this website. from an aroace girl, thank you, you are so talented with what you do.

There's both actually, so just the male domination tag should be added.

Maybe unlockable like the costume changes from Reina's shop, examples being the one Zahera picture in the shower (adding that the new one doesn't mesh well with the preview picture right before), or all Reina's and Freja's scenes with the old look, conidering a costume change the same as a "skin" (in the game meaning) change. Or was it peraphs already stated that the old pictures will completely be discarded?

Also, I noticed an Issue with the name changes: when, in a dialogue, a character shouts another character's name (meaning saying it in all caps), said name is the original one and not the changed one.

This happens even though I changed her name in Amelie. It works fine all the time except in these instances with names in all caps.

That said, thank you a lot for your hard work. Been waiting to play new updates since the 16.2.2 public one and I'm glad to see it was worth it.

Adding their original OW looks back ruins the point of us trying to distance ourselves from Blizzard's property. Thanks for noting the Zahera's shower pic not fitting in with the previous one, we will update that. With Reina we just plan to revert some of her changes to make her closer to her original look (like purple colors for example), but to not change too much. And with Freja... Her old design didn't age well in her old scenes, so we don't plan to bring her old look back as a skin.
