I'll just copypast our answer from few comments above:
"The reason why we released so many skins recently is due to the fact that most of our team wanted to take a proper holiday break after rather stressful year of 2022, but we didn't want to leave our players completely without content. Skins take less time to make, so it was an obvious choice. Also, this approach helped us to win some time while our developer been working on updating old and poorly designed elements of the game, such as gallery, as well as implementing new mechanics, all of which are coming in the next update. I understand that everyone want to see neverending stream of content, but there's only so much we can do as human meatbags.
If you check our latest posts on Twitter or Patreon, we discussed this approach and the fact that we ourselves find it lackluster and would like to avoid relying on skins to fill the gaps between releases. To help this, we will add "mini-quests" and "story-only" expansions, which will be released instead or alongside skins. They will feature small scale stories for characters, whom routes are already been finished, or for background characters people want to see more content with. Those updates will be more frequent and will help us to fill the void between major releases, which happen on average every 2 months."
Anyone else getting an issue where anything saved passed the Sombra phone call loads there instead of where it was saved? (The one at the end of her content).
I had that issue. sadly I had to restart and it took awhile to get back to that point. I suggest making 2 saves just in case

We tried to figure out what might cause this issue, but no matter how hard we tried, we just can't replicate this bug on our end. If possible, could you send us your "corrupted" save file?

<DEV NOTE: Sorry for releasing the game a day late! All of us, responsible for releases, been away for the whole day yesterday getting keys to our new apartment, which went great. We almost finished with Mothra's update, and as soon as it's done we'll take few days off to move our stuff to the new place. Thank you all for your support, because only thanks to that we got to this point and actually managed to get our first own place (even if it's rented) in a country, where we finally find peace and comfort.

We just started working on her short-story, which might come out sooner rather than later. We want to release updates where we build up relationships with characters who don't have routes yet, like Pharah and Ana, and make it into story-only updates we drop in between major releases, and once their route and characters is fleshed out enough, we'll start adding scenes for them too.
Once you complete their routes, you can purchase skins for their scenes from Sombra.

Few things that you pointed out are a very valid points, especially parts regarding Mei and Widowmaker's stories. I'll revisit them to address some of those issues:
- Widow's route will be updated, more specifically the part where you spy on her with Chris. Player will get a choice of eavesdropping or straight up spying. Depending on the choice, you'll see either full scene, that includes her and Chris, or just the part where Widow featured solo. Picking option that will include Chris is also will be accompanied by "trigger warning" explaining the contents of the scene. This scene is relevant in her overall plot, but as of right now, while her story is not fully finished, it just sticks out as some kind of NTR focused element, which it not really supposed to be.
- Mei's route will be revisited to add more substance to her as a character, because as you pointed out, it focuses a little too much on the meteorology, rather than her personality. It won't be a complete overhaul, rather an addition to discuss her looming lack of male figure in life.
Tracer and Mercy are the first routes to be featured in our game, and they didn't really age very well, that's why they are getting a complete rework in upcoming overhaul update, to bring them closer to what we did with Sombra and DVa.
Brigitte, in my opinion, is good as is. Yea, bondage might not be for everyone, but there's a solid chunk of our player base who loves her story. Reworking it to be more appealing to masses feels wrong. Also, speaking about Andre, her character has been introduced as a "test of waters" to see whether our players will be interested in content not featuring Overwatch girls, and she turned out to be one of the most fan favorites elements of the game. We don't want to stick to OW like parasites forever, and wanted to make sure we can do good stuff without using someone else's work as a foundation. That's also the reason why her story is rather short and clunky, because we didn't want to take too much time to make update that people might not want to see. In future, when we'll get more time, I'll add more of an actual story to her.
In regard of our setting: This is our first experience making a game, and I'm gonna be honest, when we just started we didn't expect it to go anywhere. We were almost adamant that it will just be a short dating-sim kind of game with couple of characters, just so we can gain some kind of experience in this sphere. We used OW characters to gain attention, so it will be easier to get feedback on what we did right and what we did wrong. It's too late to change the setting now, so we're just looking for ways to make it work.
Gameplay-wise, it will remain a dating sim, but we'll try to add some meat on top of this premise to make it more engaging to stroll around the Academy.
Grind, yea, it sucks, and we're working on possible solutions to turn most of it into idle-like progression where we can, and the rest will be spiced with random events. If you have any ideas what could work in our case, feel free to drop them here, because honestly we need them.
Again, thank you for honest review. We're doing our best to turn this game into something worth both your and our time, because we don't really want our first game to be unfinished and lackluster piece of porn. If we can't make even this right, it's too early to think of real and bigger projects for sure.

Young_Naughty I'm happy that you are well and safe, I have great news, my friend from Odessa is alive, his family fled to Germany and according to them he is in England receiving training.
That's amazing! Not the part where they HAD to flee, but the fact that they are safe right now. I'm really happy to hear that, really. Our families are still in Odesa, and the constant blackouts are a nightmare, especially considering that in many homes water pumps are relying on the electricity to, well, pump water. I'm glad your friend and their family don't have to suffer from it anymore. We wish them all the best!

I guess you could say life happened...
Latest update got postponned because our programmer (Cipheos) got sick. Like can't get out of bed and in need of an ambulance sick. And since we are a small-scale team there was no one to cover for him. All this while we have all pics ready and script done... And we can't put it all into the code. So we decided while we can't release a new update we will just work ahead of time. We are already working on the next two updates.
Also when our programmer recovers — he will instruct our new junior programmer to help us with the small updates and take some work off Cipheos shoulders. And to work when he can't. So, lesson definitely learned.
And that's how things are. We are really sorry we didn't manage to release an update in time, we will do better.
