Ya I know its a story and only a story but the Developer did write it so well that I strayed from the “good” path of just wanting my kink lit up, to “I really fucking give a dam” about what happens to the characters and I think this is awesome because no story here has managed this so far.

I acutely think the developers writing is good enough for the mainstream audience, good knows its a loot better then was some people sell as an “erotic novel” or “Interactive Game book” these days.

A great text only game with a well written story line and likable characters. It has an interesting spin on mind control and dream walking. All the updates have been meaningful continuations of the story, and I am exited for the next one already.

Excellent despite not having pictures, great story, some small bugs but they get fixed pretty regularly. Looking forward to future updates. Definitely recommend if superpowers are you thing! Keep up the great work!

A fun HTML game about corruption and super powers. I really enjoyed its unique take on corruption, slowly manipulating the girl's minds rather than dominating their bodies. It has a much lighter tone than a lot of these games do and I don't think that's a bad thing.

Flawless pacing, played for 5 hours straight on first brush. (I'm at level 1 connection with Kiara and level 3 with Blaire)

I really appreciate how there's only so much downtime between interesting events, and that said downtime has obvious and relevant benefits.
Also, that one paragraph where Kiara explains a bit about her sexual preferences is nearly word-for-word how a friend defined their understanding of being a switch, so you fucking NAILED that.
I appreciate your subtlety with the diversity, it'll help some of the conservative goons on this forum :D

Only criticism I can think of is the dry spell at the beginning of the game. I can't tell if I just misplayed, but there isn't much in the way of actually arousing content for a looooong time (3ish hours), which could obviously lead some players to drop the game prematurely.

Otherwise? The women in this game are actual people, so I'm gonna put this firmly in the category of "Fucking masterwork".
    Phenomenal, bravo, synonyms!

I wanted to rate this game higher. I love the concept, the characters are mostly likeable, the dialog and story are well written. Unfortunately, the grind is ridiculous. Perhaps it gets better as you go, but I have already put in way too much time with what feels like absolutely no progress. On top of that, certain actions no longer report progress. So, I have lost the ability to progress before I have seen any progress, if you see what I mean.
I suspect the current state of things is pretty integral to the way the game is built, so I would be surprised if it can be fixed without a complete rework of the code.
Honestly, I'd kinda like to see this in story form, so I could just read it, instead of having to grind my way through it.

    This game is great!
Hypnotism/Corruption fetish where the main character *isn't* a sociopath and uses his powers to help people.
The author clearly cares about the characters, and even the minor ones are imbued with a sense of life. The main characters are all heaps of fun.
The sex scenes are excellent. It's a bit of a slow burn but the payoff is worth it.

At this stage (1.5a) there's a few hours of good gameplay before the limits of the available content begin to show.

This is a twine game: text only. The interface is clear and intuitive, but at this stage it's pretty ugly. Hopefully we'll see improvements to the UI as the game is developed.

In a vast expanse of so many offerings that feel like deja vu all over again, this little gem stands out like an oasis of originality and fun.
If you are looking for great artwork or pictures, this one really is not for you.
However, if you love a good story this one is a must see. The writing is beyond clean. Clever and witty, with very vibrant characters to interact with and learn more about. This is not just a novel to read, there is interaction and choices to be made.
I have played for about an hour and a half and am totally hooked.
Smashing good time. Hearty congratulations to the author/dev!

A good game and a good surprise. A lighthearted game of super (heros or vilains, too soon to tell), which despite tags like « mind control » and « corruption » contains no scene of rape or abuse (a big up for me), and has a few interesting turnarounds (I am looking at you, Kiara).

Unfortunately, the game has the same problem than a lot of html games : it is quite easy to get lost, turn in circles, feeling like you've come to the end of the game when you haven't, etc. Fortunately, there are developer notes to help us.

    Congratulations to the dev.

One of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time. The story is well-designed, the scenes are well-written, and the characters are interesting and believable.

The amount of content available makes the 'alpha' designation a bit odd, as I'm used to a dearth of scenes and some janky behavior for things with the alpha version tag. In this case, there's an incredible amount of content -- several hours, at least -- and the story makes you want to keep playing even if you've... well, satisfied your baser urges.

    Looking forward to future updates.

    Pros:
    1) Non-rapey mind control - actually hard to find, big + from me.
    2) Good writing and fleshed out characters. They actually feel like (almost) real people. Love "devoted" Blaire, her scenes are really great.
    3) Good variety of scenes and situations, player agency via several major choices that alter the characters to better suit your tastes.
    Neutral:
    1) As it is with most text only games that rely on plot and try to setup the sexual interactions between characters instead of jumping straight to it, it takes a while to get to the "good" stuff. I got a bit tired reading the intros and grinding a few first levels for girls, but I see it as a "necessary evil" for the eventual payoff.
    Good luck to the dev!

You don't really need any pictures, when you have some imagination.
Great story writing, sucking in. Lifelike characters, not just empty fuckable shells. This could be one of the best games on site. Keep up the good work.
    Hats off!

    This game is really promising.

The concept of mind control is very well used and feels much more rewarding as you have to actually work your way through to gain more control. It also doesn't have that rapey aspect that mind control has, which can really be a plus for some.

The progression is well paced, the puzzles are enjoyable and not too hard or too easy. The tips from the dev were really appreciated in my case.

    Definitely recommend this game !

Good game! Waiting for some more content definitely, but the writing and overall structure of the game are really good! It also strikes a good balance between the traditional hypnotization situation and a game about wooing. The dreams are super cool to navigate, using skills you have to develop while exploring the game's world, information about the person you're invading, a close eye for detail, and an interest in puzzles!

    Looooovin it.

Art's irrelevant; text game I have an imagination and am quite good at picturing boobs.

Writing's superb and enjoyable. Voice is good, characters are strong and likeable (except for the hateable bitch's hateable phase, which is supposed to be hateable). Dialog doesn't make me cringe and fluency is easily-digestable.

Nothing present in the porn squicked me, but it's a bit light at this early stage. My usual cadre of fetish-hopes is superceded by the hope you keep your writing strong and your vision intact, so I'll keep those to myself for a bit.

    TLDR: Mmmm, literacy... fapfapfap.

Lot of bugs, but the writing quality is top-notch, and the content that does exist isn't rapey like most mind-control games (which generally removes my interest in the whole genre)

I do hope the author adds in body modification abilities once your mental 'hook' level reaches a certain amount with the various characters, but like I said earlier, the content quality is really good- even if some of the coding should have immediately thrown errors in any compiler ever. Luckily, there seems to be a community member or two that's helping debug, so the major progression bug that currently exists should be fixed soon.

And with what currently exists (i.e., the content frame), this game looks expandable enough to start supporting a CoC-style framework where different authors can add in different girls at different times without disrupting the narrative.

Nice old-school AIF feel without the guess-the-verb problem of old text adventures. The game needs some grammar editing and there are some inconsistencies in the code, but a very promising start to a great concept.

I'll be clear here....this game is old school. It reminds me of the old days of AIF games....RAGS, TADS, and Adrift. It's not quite Goblinboy-level of writing and there's no graphics, but it was very well-written and fun to play. If you must have graphics in your adult game, this is not for you.

The writing is excellent. The characters are interesting. There are stakes involved..and there's some solid humor here. I enjoyed the game (I only found one bug which I could not repeat).

    I have 2 minor complaints.
First, making money isn't easy and it's a bit tedious. You don't seem to improve at micro work at all...so if you ExcelDrive twice a day you're losing money.

Secondly, I'd like to see this game expanded to include other characters...so I can't really call this game complete.

If the author teamed up with someone that does Ren'Py and graphics, they'd be unstoppable...because the weak part in 95% of these games is the story/characters/..and the ability for Myscra to tell a story and have interesting characters is excellent.

    This is a good game.

Okay, probably should add more than that, but keep that first sentence in mind as I unload some gripes.

As Yamineko said in their review, this is a very promising game that currently has a number of problems . It is likely than many of these will be corrected in future releases , so they are not the death sentence that they could be.

I will say for the record that I have given up on games that were better designed than this for smaller issues. So what sets this one apart? Why does it get a pass when others do not?

The key, the saving grace of this game, is the writing. Accidental Mind's writing is funny, engaging, and—rare for the genre—feels unique while still being familiar. No it's not perfect, but the storytelling is so engaging that you stop caring about a buggy interface or confusing stat grind. Ordinarily, the writing and gameplay of a game should work hand in hand to draw the player in. A failure to sync these two often kills promising games before they begin. So it should say something about Accidental Mind's writing that it not only can function without its gameplay but also in spite of it.

Again, community mods have shown that a lot of the issues are more baby giraffe stumbling than broken legs, and I expect future updates will repair the gameplay to at least functional status, if not beyond. When that happens I look forward to seeing just how good this game can be.

Until then, I still highly recommend playing this early version. You may have to do some script editing or at the very least consult other players for help, but the experience you receive will be more than worth it. For now, don't look at this as a game, per se, but as a tremendous novel (or the first few chapters of one) with a slight commute between chapters. The commute might grate a little, but the story will wash away any annoyance and leave you ready to dive back into the grind just to get a bit more of the story.

All in all, a tremendous first outing that I cannot wait to see a continuation of.

This is a review for version 1.0 after having played through all content I could possibly find scouring through the source. I'm making this review taking into consideration, that this is a first version, and I'm using a patched version that isn't official yet (made by myself as I played). I'm also giving the author the benefit of the doubt he's gonna fix broken things soon.

    Story
A very interesting take on superheroes, with a good role for the villain. The story managed to hook me in straight away. The pacing of training at the start is quite nice and the idea of "corrupting" girls, while not unique, is well executed. The mechanic upon which to increase your level with them is fairly unique and has a good depth to it. I feel like MCs motivation to corrupting people around him could be fleshed out a bit more, but I assume this is to come. 4/5

    Writing
I love the writing. Period. The exposition is done in interesting sequences and the interaction with the (only) girl so far seems natural enough, including its gradual shift. Maybe an event upon upgrading the stage might be prudent, but that's about it in that department. I didn't find any glaring mistakes in spelling or grammar.
Where this game really took me was with the sex scenes. Nicely thematically diverse, with variations on every relationship level. Blaire is written just right according to my tastes, which is also clouding my judgment towards the rating a fair bit tbh. Even if she isn't your taste, where one character is well written, I'm sure more will follow. 5/5

    Gameplay
There is a reasonable amount of mechanics for a text-based game. No silly mini-games anywhere, thank god for that. You grind your abilities and girls at a reasonable pace for this kind of game and with a walkthrough detailling where everything is, this will be a peachy game. However, unfortunately, there's many bugs. In the first upload, it's impossible to grind Blaire's stats to level 2 (or 3 upon reaching it), and 4 is also locked by a mistake. After reaching the last level, there's also quite a few events that don't fire correctly. Quite a few buttons are also broken and one room even softlocks you without escape. There's already a fan patch for it. Grinding attributes is capped at 10, due to higher events not firing. The game doesn't tell you, that the player attributes do not really matter atm either. The only feasible way of earning money is not accessible and even with that, the monetary requirements are way too high for what that method can give you. I hope all this will be changed/fixed in a future version and I'm giving my rating in faith that it will (a member here already made a hotfix for those who don't wanna dig through the code like us :D). 3/5

    tl;dr
Great text-only game in writing, certainly something to follow for now. Bugs aplenty in this version unfortunately, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt. Don't play this yet if you aren't prepared to suffer a fair bit through those bugs.
