For me, that’s part of the tension and the appeal — the sense of secrets, deceit, and slow discovery. When the MMC isn’t around, it makes the corruption feel more realistic and psychological rather than just visual or direct humiliation. It builds anticipation for when (or if) he finally finds out.

Having him “rubbed in his face” can work too, but it’s a totally different kind of thrill — more instant gratification. Whereas the “behind-his-back” approach plays on suspense and emotional manipulation, and that’s often much more satisfying in the long run.

So I think it really depends on the kind of story the dev wants to tell:
– Cuckold/humiliation → MMC witnessing the acts
– Corruption/deception → MMC absent or unaware

Both can be great if done well, but personally I lean toward the second style.

My personal favourite is when the MC is aware of what happening, but he pretends to be "oblivious". He just watching from a safe distance as his GF slowly getting corrupted by his friends. These scenarios are maybe closer to Netorare, but still contains NTS elements, because even if things don't happen with his approval, he doesn't mind if his girlfriend plays around a little without his permission. These kind of scenarios can also trigger the best voyeur events.

According To Sofia - Chapter 3 Part 1 (status report)


Hello everyone!

I've been working on Chapter 3 Part 1 for the last few weeks. At the current pace, I'm confident it will be finished in the first half of November!

I'm running low on "spoiler free" previews... so I'll share a nice dinner picture of Sofia and Bob.

The story of a girl from the village named Sofia

I'm still thinking about this and it won't be written about her, but I was just sitting there watching a TV series and the idea came to mind—a story about this. And the 13th, Friday, and the full moon always seem mystical and mysterious to me.

The "oblivious"/netorare path looks very promising with anticipation of Sofia doing raunchier and raunchier deeds with the boys behind the boyfriend's back until some eventual point of no return/apex of shocking discovery where the netorare player finally gets to fap. The Margot Robbie-ish model looks hot enough, particularly when bent over giving a lapdance.

Playing the oblivious boyfriend/cheating girlfriend netorare path if there had been a dialog option for the MC to choose not have sex with his horny girlfriend because he's exhausted from work or tried but failed to perform or whatever I would've picked that.

Just having it on one path is enough for the tag to be needed, and it can still have any number of other paths that don't feature NTR. For instance, here, there's no NTR on the loyal path, else it wouldn't be the loyal path. Having someone look covetously at your partner does not equal NTR. Having someone try to touch your partner and her stopping him does not equal NTR.

The second point is kind of covered at the end of the above, actually. As the dev confirmed in an earlier post, if you choose the option for Sofia to shoot them down at the first opportunity, even though they try again during truth or dare, Sofia reaffirms her stance and doesn't allow them to touch her. I don't know where you get "there's no reason to play this if you don't like cuck or NTR content", when there's a loyal path that excludes both of those.

To be honest, having the line saying she "liked it when you slapped her ass, just like when Chris did it" (and maybe the shop talk about the guy patting her ass) sounds like it could be a bug (grima_grima?), because when Chris slapped her, on the loyal route there was no indication of her having enjoyed it at all. The other couple of examples you give are not NTR/cuck lines of dialogue at all, they're maybe suggestive, but nothing more (and a couple of your examples aren't even that). Even on a loyal route, an FMC can be body confident and open to compliments etc., it's about staying loyal though, even if others are trying to tempt her. A loyal route doesn't mean that no other men will find her attractive and try to tempt her.

I've fixed these issues from Chapter 1:

Loyal path: the narrator does not mention that she liked when Chris slapped her ass, just says she liked it when Bob did it:

I appreciate all the feedback! I know these are small things, but they help the game to become better :)

These fixes will be available when Chapter 3 Part 1 is released in early November.
