Re-visiting this thread, and I kinda wish people would be a little less negative towards the Devs. This is their project, and its not fair to make demands when you don't really have a stake in the project imo. Complaining about progress is redundant; whining on the internet doesn't achieve anything. You can feel free to be frustrated, but the Devs are human just like anyone else. Try to remember this (especially those who haven't spent even 5 minutes doing any basic programming work).

Where can i find the futa?
Week 3

Do you have an idea of how far along act 1 we are? any roadmaps for this game you could share?
A good chunk of Act 1 MSQ is done and it should be "completed" in 2026.
Aside from the direct MSQ content and h-scenes our focus is on the new combat system, corruption system, new GUI, optimized content implementation pipeline, maps, finished blacksmith/general store/barmaid minigames. Once all that is done we'll be in ver 0.3.X

I put completed in quotes as that doesn't mean we won't touch Act 1 stuff ever again but starting in 0.3 the MSQ focus will be on Act 2 content.

Is there a futa? I missed that and since tags don't say it thought it did not have, will play it again I suppose

I'm not sure about the tags as I don't set those. I just choose to respond to questions in this thread haha.

The dryad would be the current futa though. It's one scene as of 0.2.25. The full 0.2.26 RC patch will have two more.

Aaaaaah ok, I considered that a monster more than a futa and the person who made the tags probably too hahahahaha. Anyway you are doing an amazing job, love this type of games

Thanks for the feedback. Will Act 2 be as long as act 1 ? Will it have a similar structure?

Ah, for sure. Yeah then by that definition there isn't any futa at the moment. There will be down the line but there isn't any in our art pipeline right now. And do note that it won't be a major focus of the game.

Act 2 will be much longer than Act 1 and the structure will differ due to several revelations in the story.
In terms of size: Act 2>Act3>Act 1>Epilogue>Prologue

And yeah first release was late 2022 and was the first bit of "gamedev" I ever did. A lot has changed since then and granted this is a fairly large, expensive and ambitious first project. My goal is for AEP to be a proper game though rather than just a vehicle for a h-scene gallery. Should I have done something simpler to start my gamedev career? In theory... sure. In reality though, A:EP was and is the game I want to exist. Without it I'd probably just be mindlessly climbing the corporate ladder and planning my retirement.

I won't mince words though, this has been hard and stressful as fuck. But even with our comparatively low (but steady) budget we've slowly built up to the point where over this past year we've added two more artists, a programmer, a combat designer and a mapper all now helping make this game a reality. Next up is actually a pixel artist and hopefully myself being able to quit my dayjob.

My vision with all of this has never faltered. Every hardship faced and obstacle overcome has only emboldened me stay on course to ship version 1.0.

I did not want to be whining or blaming the devs, as I really appreciate the game so far, I wanted just to make a small warning (in a bit of satire form), as I saw too many projects that got abandoned just because creators "sailed across the open sea" too quick and the size of their projects overwhelmed them (and some that got strong start and very poor middle to end part, just to release it asap) - good to hear, that the team size is increasing, take your time as you need, but have in mind, that each year some really great games are released and the level of the market is increasing - products that were considered great in 2015, now are (mostly) ultra generic from 2025 point of view ;)

PS. And indeed it was late 2022 and not late 2021/early 2022 as I remembered - seems like my memory has deceived me...

My dear dev, i and most players don't like futa. I hope you can add futa content on/off switch for us PLEASE. I don't want my fav game got ruin by it.

Is there any solid NTR or (i remember it having some hypnosis) content yet? Or should i wait for a bit?
The only characters that are actively pursing Emma are the Demon Lord and John so far and she's at least interested. There're also Kazuma who's still holding back because of Cross and the Mayor.

First RPG Maker game unable to come up with a simple damn Combat system.

Really, one of the most incompetent devs I have ever seen.

An RPG Maker game with no RPG elements.
