So, where do I start?

Well, this game is not what I expected it to be. First it is not that good as a porn game, the animations are very basic and not that polished. But as a Visual Novel, it is something different, something that would make you love it or hate it so much that you wish it never existed. I personally downloaded it and played it for the purpose of playing a porn game but the story grew on me to a point that I don't want to see the sex scenes anymore and just focus on my choices and how the story goes from there.

This game also teach some valuable life lessons, from being confident about yourself (Megan), being brave in spite of all the negative things that are happening (Melissa), being strong and straightforward (Rena) and to just enjoying life and living it to its fullest (Liam). These characters made them relatable as per my past experiences.

Earlier episodes were great, you have a choice to go fool around or be serious with your love interests, in my case with Megan and Melissa, all through those earlier episodes, I fully committed myself to them. Never allowing anyone of them to get hurt, to compliment them every time I have a chance, to loving them as a good man could do. The MC was confused, and yes, I am also confused because I love them both that's why I always do my best to stick up to them.

But then, "the choice" happened. That was the time that I questioned myself why I played this game. It took me back to the time when I was suffering from depression, to my darkest days, days of depression, days of brokenness, days of hopelessness. Where there is no one who is willing to listen to you, no one cares and all you have to do is keep everything to yourself (I was not able to go to a therapist because I can't afford to).

All the efforts that I made to make Megan and Melissa stay with me went down the drain. I was forced to make a choice that I don't want to make. As MC said, he'd rather lose both of them rather than hurt one of them, I would have rather died trying to save them than save one and let the other one die. It is very painful. I felt like the buildup to us three being together was such a joke that in the end it would end up really bad. But I tried to finish the game as much as I can. It's just that the latter part knocks you down and keeps hitting you while you are down.

In the end, it was bittersweet but what happened really left a huge scar in me and I was broken. I don't know why I don't feel really good about the game despite the wedding scenes with both Megan and Melissa (I was crying like hell during those times). Maybe because I know that despite the "happy marriage" ending with either one of them (or the little Liam with Rena ending and being back together with Ana if you count that as a happy ending), there is a much more better way to end the story of Megan, Melissa and MC which is to spend the rest of their loves together, the three of them (with Liam as the best friend as he was always been). This is a game not real life, yes, but I knew some instances where people agree with three-way relationships in real life. And that is why I was very conflicted with this game.

With that, I am now currently spending my time writing a script where you can save both Megan and Melissa and be with them at the end. I tried asking out how I can reach DrPinkCake but some people wants him out of it and I also know that it will be a cold day in hell (see what I did there?) for him to respond. He is very busy with his new game and I know he will not bother to waste his time with this idea. I hope DrPinkCake would listen and come up with a good alternate ending for Megan and Melissa alive. Just think of it, many large movie companies listen to their audiences. Some gaming devs listened to their player base. Even restaurant chains listen to their customers. I really hope he will also. But even if he decided not to, it will not hinder me from finishing what I intend to write and as soon as I finish my script and I had a chance to put it out there, I would, even if not as a Visual Novel but through other media if possible. And yep, it made me cry a lot.

Amazing game. I played this while waiting for the next episode of the much better rendered Being a DIK game and I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Although the render quality is definitely lower than Being A DIK the story with this one is good. Played it twice as I was not happy with the 1st ending I got (Melissa + reunion) and I went for Rena instead. Man if that’s the best ending. Rena ending positively changed my mind and bitter taste from 1st playthrough and I recommend it. She’s kickass.

With how popular this game is it is hard to drop a review that says anything that hasn't already been said. But I feel a game of this caliber absolutelydeserves more praise.

This game is certainly the gold standard of a vn. Every vn on this site considers acting lessons not only for inspiration but simply for guidance.

This game has beautiful renders, characters with personality, an interesting story, and adds plenty of humor as well as more poignant moments where you feel sadness for people in the game.

This game has it all and as I said, any vn that wants to be one of the greats has to certainly consider why acting lessons is as popular as it is and try to recreate that within their game.

Fantastic and addictive game with nice and original characters, very nice images rendering as well.
Please don't stop such a story, maybe a prequel would be interesting with some of existing characters !

This game turned out to be gold started to play to fap but ended up being sad . Story very intriguing .
Played from the first release and liked how some minor actions could lead to major situations afterwards. 10/10 recommended

The first game where I did go for one girl only from the start (Megan), luck? I don't know. The ending was surprising and a bit difficult to go through.

The renders are good so is the music, animations, and story. The girls look good.
It has 20+ endings, a friend that is a friend (yes this is a thing in adult games who would have thought of it).

I wish I could give it 4 and a half stars. The story was fantastic for a first release. It's an emotional rollercoaster during the latter half which is unusual but this was the first novel I read where I felt connected to the characters. Just be prepared that this isn't designed to be fap only material.

So I've finished the entire game (it is LONG), and reached a couple of different endings, and I honestly cannot believe this game is rated so highly. It seems to be created by a SADIST who fancies himself a soap opera screenwriter; let me explain.

The game forces the main "romantic" relationship on you, the MC. Then, everywhere you go, it dangles other attractive, young women in front of you. Almost all of them find you attractive, and want to jump your bones at some point.

Yet you, IN A PORN GAME, are supposed to reject nearly ALL of these hot women, to stay "faithful" to your ambiguous, mandatory relationship. If you're not "faithful" - guess what happens? She finds out and leaves you? Gives you a slap maybe? Keys your car? Oh no, that would be far too reasonable.

If you have sex -- IN A PORN GAME -- with the attractive women presented to you, there will be DEATH, and FIRE, and TORTOURE, and PTSD, and everyone will HATE you, and you'll have to spend years in THERAPY to even regain sanity. HAPPY FAPPING! Oh and P.S., your best friend has cancer. Enjoy!

Honestly, I get that not every game has to be a harem: that's fine. Some real-world-consequences to your actions? Cool, make it more real. Wife catches you - divorce, bad end, fine. But this isn't that. This is mental torture porn.

The game makes it clear that the death and murder and your house on fire, is largely YOUR fault, for being such a horrible person. What's so horrible about you, did you kill someone? Nah, you just banged a bunch of pretty women... in a porn game. It is honestly ridiculous.

I gave it two stars because it is well written in terms of language (not content!) , the renders are pretty good, and it runs well: no bugs, a complete game.

The pacing is bad though, especially in the "ending". It's just slides and slides of text, text, text of you in THERAPY from the HORRIBLENESS of everything - HAPPY FAPPING!

This is not your typical "Porn Game" that you think.
I downloaded this game thinking that there must be something really good about the animations or art because of the reviews, but when I played it, it's really about the story.

You'll laugh, get horny, cry, and learn because of this game. It's really a MASTERPIECE.

I would recommend everyone to play this.

Literally I felt traumatised after playing this game, but do I regret it? Hell NO, freaking love this game, can't say I love the content of the ending though, not because it's badly composed or anything, it's just that, as a "normal" pervy erotic gamer, anyone would prefer a happy ending, right?? But I do love the form of ending itself for its dramatic characteristic. And for the main plot of this game, it's also quite enjoyable, well, although it doesn't teach you the importance of the sharing in friendship as much as "DoD" dose, it still shows it's good to take care of your friend (side character). Damn, so much wisdom you can absorb while playing a freaking erotic game, not to mention during the ultimate sage time after a wild sweating fap.

Other than the plot, the rendering's so good, that in other games, even if the character's slightly similar to the green-eyed girl in this game, I would consider them extraordinarily pretty. As for animated sex scenes, it doesn't really matter, does it? I mean, if you really want that, just go for a porn video, and that's everywhere.

I really enjoyed the story, the beauty of the caracters.

Some say that the tough choise make the game unpleasant, but I think that this is the best part of the game: in the end you will never have all the girls, you will have to choose.

Best story, best music, best emotional experience.

Its not about porno, its more like good drama movie with choises and consiqences (mass effect 2 style). Trully brilliant game! You will cry in the end.

Great renders; it's hilarious, I've literally laughed out loud multiple times playing this; has a maybe somewhat over the top ending but it's still written better than most of your endings in such games.

It's hard to say if this game is "the best sex/porn game" i played, but surely its one of the best love/romance stories i've seen in such game. Characters, setting and general plot is realistic and convincing, it's must play game if you love romance/drama/slice of live type of stories. This game almost made me cry and even made my eyes moist, and in later time i will probably come back to it, to "re-expierience" this story. The weaker part of this game are actual sex scenes, they are super vanilla in both scene and writhing aspect, but this game is way more about romance then sex actually.

If you look for a story, that both will make you smile, laugh, and even bring tears into your eyes, this game is for you. If you are looking for fap material, better look elsewhere, because yes there are sex scenes in this game, but there aren't too many of them and they are mostly basic but good quality. There is no more to say without spoiling, simply try to experience this game yourself... you will not regret it.

I think is one of the best games that i played. The art is really beautyful, the gameplay is nice for the multiple stories you can develop. Girls are super nice and really real in their differents behaviors. Real good choice to have a male character like Liam, to help with the story. Must play game. Laugh, horny and cry at the same time

This game gave me more emotions than I had in my entire life. Thats not game where you can easy find scene to fap on, its about strong relations, and really hard decisions. Cried as a child, almost broke my screen while was in rage.

Actually there s so much to say for this masterpiece but in short->IT S THE #1 GAME HERE NO DOUBT (well at least in my opinion)
The storytelling,all the characters,the FEELS,the renders,the animations,the soundtrack all of it felt so real. Acting Lessons gives a very important message with feels and honestly i wasnt expecting it i ve cried my eyes out at least a few times...No words can explain it anymore than that...this wasnt just a game for me it gave wondeful messages through it.
I felt immersed in Acting Lessons universe and well it was a great experience so i m glad ! I m definitely supporting the dev after this one ! Tbh i dont feel like playing another game after this one it s like the summit point or something haha (But like i said i ll look into PinkCake's other projects !)

Characters are memorable and appealing. Their behaviors are consistent and personalities are well-constructed.
Story was amazing and memorable.
Sound fx are good.

This is the kind of game that makes me want to write adult fiction. The story and the dialogue are both very well written and presented me with some serious surprises, both delightful and heartrending. It's not all rainbows and lollipops here, be prepared to make difficult choices! DrPinkCake also took the time to fill it out with a full soundtrack of quality music, not just the commonly heard default tracks some of us have come to recognize. As if that wasn't enough, yes, there are some very high quality renders and animations of beautiful 3D models, but it's not just a "porn game." Not that there's anything wrong with a porn game, mind you, but this had me laughing, crying, and caring so much for the characters that the sex scenes really felt like an honest portrayal of the characters lives, rather than an interruption of the story for eye candy. It's rare for a game in this genre to draw me in to the story so well that I actually feel bad for trying to score with side characters just to unlock gallery scenes, but this game did. To top it all off, they even throw in some heartfelt poetic lines, life philosophy, and an inspirational final note. This is the kind of work that gets me from F95zone to Patreon. DrPinkCake totallly deserves my money for this, and I'm gonna go give them some.
