VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Acting Lessons [v1.0.2] [DrPinkCake]

I've never reviewed a game on here before, despite playing a lot of them. This game just stands out .

Pros:
- Incredible storytelling, believable, rounded characters with very human relationships
- very good renders and animations, the girls are hot (though the main female is the least hot imo)
- Mutliple endings with meaningful choices (though important parts of the story are on rails, the choices do make a big difference in play throughs and the answers aren't hit you on the head obvious)
- Liam is awesome. Seriously, what a fucking great character.

Cons:
- I got super emotionally invested and ended up not having a wank despite the great images.
- sex scenarios are kind of vanilla in terms of fetishes (except... not? because when you do taboo things like cheating or acting selfislhly you actually feel bad about it)

Seriously this game is great. Get the wank out of the way early before you get sucked into the story and then just enjoy a really-well told story.

- The storytelling is excellent, except for the ending part
- The characters are well written and believable
- Many choices that seem to make a difference throughout the game
- The CGs are good; great characters
- The sex stuff isn't bad either, but I would've expected to see more of it in the game - it's kinda rare ... especially if you play the protagonist "believable".
- Even the music and sound atmosphere was good from start to finish.. it's a pity that most similar games on F95 are completely silent all the time, sound effects and music is sooo importent to immerse the player into the game.

Really got into this one, cared about characters more than any other of this game genre it got pretty deep towards the end which surprised me a bit but personally i think it added to the experience, i loved it

This is some of the best English erotic games I've played. Not only did I come to decipher so many meanings from the title after one full playthrough (a fitting theme, a critical plot device and a plot twist all in one!), I actually find this better than Depraved Awakening, which is similarly enthralling but less realistic. What I enjoy even more is the depth of malice that is boldly - boldly, because most Western audiences are so strangely puritan with their material that even depicting common sexual fantasies such as NTR or rape normally draws massive backlashes -portrayed in this game. Certainly, this is far more affecting than a certain press F for respect scene.

it probably doesn't need to be said, but Liam is by far the best character in the game. One might say that without Liam, this game wouldn't be half as fun as it is. In fact, I'm sure that many will agree that his presence outshines every character in the game. Once again, respect to Liam, and I hope he makes a cameo in the dev's future titles.

Lastly, I'll just imagine in my head canon that being reasonably civil to Melissa's dad unlocks the true TRUE ending where everyone lives happily ever after (except one person, obviously)...

Ending of Episode 6 and 180 genre/tone shift of the rest of the story was a huge deal breaker for me and mood killer. What looked to a promising blossoming three-way romance between the protagonist and two main girls is suddenly burned and denied. At that point previous choices didn't matter (also the traits), the story wanting to be something completely different then attended or the developer wanted to wrap up the story quickly, not giving enough subtle signs of such an outcome, only explaining after the deed is done.

I see others compare this to another game, a Private Detective story, while both have characters with interest personalities and good character designs. In the Private Detective visual novel game, it had consistent tone of what to expect, a dark shady city with corruption going around and where anything bad can happen. Not a mostly lighthearted daily-life story turned horror soap opera.

It had interesting start from episodes 1-5 with decent mixer of serious, funny and annoying interactions, but the rest after that is just an unfortunate mess.

- outstanding CGI's, animation's
- you need to replay this game few times to get all ending's, you wont get bored, each playthrough is different
- best title i have encountered here, it's just wow

The fetishes are pretty boring vanilla stuff. The girls are alright but nothing amazing. Frankly, I think Liam (the protagonist's friend) is the best thing in this VN.
As far as things I didn't like: this story is quite depressing. No matter what you do, you'll never get a happy, satisfying ending.

Honestly not what I was expecting -- in the best way. Although to be perfectly clear, it's totally NOT okay that it made me cry a little at the end. All the characters are actually quite well developed, no glaringly huge bugs or errors/typos, and the first one of these types of story-driven games where I've wanted to re-play it after finishing. Come for the faps, but stay for the tears

(i wrote a long ass review but deleted it on accident so fuck.. well it was full of spoilers anyway so better let the spoilers be minimal)

This game was a game I clicked on because it looked like it had hot girls. But oh man was I so correct and so wrong at the same time. It has amazing renders but an even more amazing story. I actually almost cried during a few scenes. If there is one game I will never forget playing from here it is this one.

You want a porn game where the best character is your male friend, the scenes are extremely erotic and you will end up crying a lot?
There is clearly a lot of effort on this game, we appreciate that!

The game is a masterpiece. I would never expect that a game of this genre would get you that invested with the characters and story (the story is brilliant). The graphics rendering and models are also really good!

Truly remarkable. One of a few VNs that can get you the feel that such story might have been 'real' (at least partialy). A complete mix of emotions: from friendship to brotherhood, from love to hate (and backwards). Involving story, interesting characters (both visualy and emotionaly), surprising turns of action, large dose of wit.

Started out great with interesting stuff/twists and was awesome for the most of the story but as the story got near the end it felt rushed so it become messy and weird to say the least. Also "thanks" for an emotional roller coaster, it was a bit too dark tbh.

Wow.. What am amazing story!! As much as I like sex, this game is both a great novel, and great sex scenes! Its mainly a story, not too overcrowded with nudity etc like most of these are! Cant add too much as I wouldnt want to ruin it, but it has its sad and happy moments, and although the ending is bittersweet, it was simply amazing! I hope DrPinkCake carries on making these kind of novels!

For some reason I just never downloaded this game; I just oddly pushed it off. But I finally decided to download it, and it was honestly one of the better things I've done in a while. I never thought that a game would make me feel a certain way. I was wrong for sure.

Excellent Renders, Animations, and Story. Would absolutely recommend to anybody that enjoys VN's.

With all the porn games around this site I typically expect my self to cry through one eye , NOT THREE!!

It's absolutely a work of art and labor of love to see how any meaningless choices in the start have can meaningful impact in the middle and in the end. Not only that ,but also various replayable values.

I have to admit (like many else) that this is indeed a masterpiece!

Storytelling is superb, more genuine and deep than in other games here. Which i think this isn't just a regular "porn" game, more like a pure visual novel with great erotic touch!

Definitely 5/5 for all sections (graphic, gameplay, story, etc..)

Hope that next game from this dev is more mind blowing
