Be specific. Just going "you wrong lol" is waste of everyone's time.
We have been specific.

In an essay, likely America because those of us that are from the UK have a different way about things, I digress .... Some of those may be correct given certain context like writing an essay on a given subject.

That said, when you are writing for characters and trying to flesh them out with their own personality then a lot of those corrections just don't work. They remove personality and have everyone talking mechanically.

I'll stick to the one that bugged me the most.

Vi comes in saying "Good evening everyone"

That shows Vi's fun side with a happy greeting.

The correction to that was "I'm back, everyone" .... which is generic and bland. Removes any personality from the writing.

How can it be a bad thing to get as much of it right as you can?
Because the dev would have to allocate time to unnecessarily redoing old stuff while she could make new lesbian Sex scenes.

Plus: I don't know if she makes money from this at all yet. So it is more of a passion Project. How much passion would remain for you in a Project, when each time you finish something and want to go on someone nitpicks on the stuff you just finished and wants you to go back to change minute things?

That was for the other guy. I already pointed out that I think the rewrites, which seem to bother you the most, are unnecessary.
I'm talking about the grammar.

While I agree that rewriting is unnecessary, this is an exaggeration. You make it sound like the difference between "Good evening" and "I'm back" would assassinate the character. It's so insignificant. All of the emotion is shown by the render.
If your point is that the comma is what makes it bland... how in the world? Forgetting a comma doesn't add personality. It just makes it wrong.

Most of his corrections don't even have a place there either, unless American culture has dumbed down English universities so much since I got my degree (as an Englishman).
American culture has dumbed down everything. And before anyone tries to start xenophobic BS... I am an American, I see it first hand on a daily basis. You're correct on all accounts. It's a country with a majority population of idiots, run by greedy idiots, who all seem to think wholeheartedly they're better than everyone else, despite the fact that they're the laughing stock of the rest of the world, with the lone exception being the remarkable talent they have at killing people.

I can't say I have any problems with Americans except 1 thing.

1 painful violation of the English Language.

It's not "aloominum" it's aluminium.................
personally I enjoy the views on "football" vs what most others call football. Always great for a laugh. Amd don't even get me started on the ridiculous measurement system, that made sense to someone at some point, but compared to the metric system... it's mind boggling

Sir Davy (the guy who named it) originally called it Alumium, but later changed it to Aluminum. Aluminium emerged around the same time, as a change to bring the word more in line with elements like Sodium, but Davy was not the one that proposed the change. Both words have been used interchangeably since their inception in the 1800s and neither have ever been considered wrong.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk!

It's always mystified me that the Americans would use the term "football" to describe a game where the ball hardly ever gets touched by a foot.
Last one before we get the bonk for thread derailment! American football is called as such because it is a derivative of Rugby football (And association football), more commonly know as just Rugby! It's better to think of it as "On-foot ball" meaning a sport played on foot with a ball!

By that logic, you'd have to call both handball, tennis, and golf "football" as well

"Aluminium" is just you Brits putting an extra syllable in an already cromulent word to make yourselves sound smarter. Just like "disorientated." Disoriented works just as well and shaves off valuable fractions of a second that could be better spent on more embiggening activities. :p

I guarantee you more languages use some form of aluminium than "aluminum". The US is the one spelled wrong :ROFLMAO:

Hmm, I'm not a Brit and not a Murrican. In fact I'm not even an english native speaker. I just wanted to say "Aluminium" is the name in all languages because that's the name of it. Only in the US they decided to be special snowflakes again.

All this discussion about English spelling and pronunciation, when everyone should known that English is just poorly pronounced French.
:ROFLMAO:

Gosh... Hey, people! Here's a lesbian harem porn game! Feel like talking?

1. Yeah! Let's talk football!
2. No, let's talk about aluminum!
3. I think let's talk about the Simpsons!

HanakoXVN forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing...
I think it's missing a cheese topic here.

Alexandre Dumas' opinion, which you're quoting, could be tempered, from a linguistic point of view. For instance, the pronunciation of the word "judge" is pretty close to the pronunciation of the French word "juge", as it was in the 12th century (ˈdʒydʒə) :D

Interesting. But I wonder, what would be his opinion about lesbian harem games? I believe he would be fan
