Great UI improvements, I really like what you did with the matrons! :D
Though I'm not the biggest fan of the world map, what do you guys & @Epaddder think about something like this?

Clicking on any location would take you to a new screen where the available actions would be placed in a similar way, there could also be a button to return to the world map and a button to return home.

Yeah, I'm not completely satisfied with it either, but I was attempting to minimize the # of clicks necessary to get to a location.
The main issues are making a world map UI with a button/label clearly visible and trying to keep it constrained into that 16:9 aspect ratio. By keeping it in that area you improve peoples ability to just access what they want without scrolling around.
I could keep the previous way of doing the map, just having the general locations on the right side (Coast, Mountains, etc) and then the click takes you to the list of specific landmarks for that area, which might just be cleaner in the end.

This sound good. I get what you're trying to do with the whole accessibility thing, the updated world map looks much faster than the old one.

I've been playing around with blender & makehuman for a couple days now, and I managed to create my own model !!! :FeelsGoodMan:

It turned out pretty nice, I really like the model (Well I made her so yeah, lol).
The reason I'm posting this here is I'm really happy and to suggest making a custom 3d girl specifically for this game. Maybe incorporate her into a tutorial, information, or quest giver or even all of them! I'm obviously a complete noob at this but I might be able to scramble together an outdoor scene(s?), a male model and a female model for some hot action. What do you think?

Thanks for the offer @pinkelephant , but the amount of unique images in this project is already staggering to try and convert everyone to unique 3d models is really a task for like a whole team and a big budget (which I am not (a team) and don't have (a budget) :coldsweat:)

One of the big motivations for why I started considering this project in the first place was to make things more consistent in the art style department. Having real porn stars with drawn monster girls just kinda bothered me a bit... not enough to stop playing, but to yearn for a fix. So mixing in a 3D character with a bunch of 2D CG isn't something I'd really like to do. :'(

As for the current status of things overall, I'm still going over everything editing. I did a lot of work on Lepo's quest to expand it and make it have the corrupt route (starts at same point as original but is handled differently) vs virtuous route. Then I've been working on the backend coding stuff like having a clearing naming convention... which takes awhile to go back and fix variable/function/label names to not suck so much, but every time I felt like I wanted to expand on the regular quest line that my generic names for things started to become cumbersome :cryingface:.

I did revert the World Map Navigation back to the old way but with the new colored labels. :biggrin:

Glad that you're progressing, also the fact that you're putting in the effort for two routes is pretty damn great. As far as I'm aware this doesn't exist in the original game.

Yes, in the original game only Fee really has a choice other than killing/abandoning/rejecting in some way. Lepo and Fee's quest lines from the original were a major source of inspiration for the whole Corruption and Virtue system...

The poll option for those that were wondering was more to determine for the eventual ending sequences how detailed they were... and since the Corruption Path did get a good percentage of total votes that ending will be expanded greatly from my original idea.

Since I'm mentioning endings I will say that only one ending is a hard stop to the game and won't allow you to continue... the best way to think of the endings in this type of game as events that trigger once you reach a certain point in the game

, you will still be able to continue playing and filling out your harem of daughters if that flag is hit before you have exhausted the other content in the game.

There are also no game overs in general unless you hit that one ending... Gaia is watching over you always :angel::winkytongue:

For the mod, this all that I've released at the moment. I've realized after the fact that maybe a better word to use instead of Demo would have been Prototype.
The original has more content and is more feature complete atm, it's at this thread

This is also true for Eriphia, who additionally seems to be using Rheia's portrait when you choose who to interact with in the tower.

That is what will happen, that content was not implemented in the version available for download. Only up to the end of everyone's obtainment quest is functional, anything after that wasn't implemented. Sorry I kind of rushed to put something out after the confusion that was happening in the original thread, so I thought to disable some stuff that would just dead-end but didn't remember to lock out every dead-end :oops:

In the twine version there is one or two text page per encounter. Here there are 10? 15? 20? click to do after an ancounter...
Will this change or remain as it is? It kill a lot fun of playing.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, I have been trying to implement NVL-mode where I feel it is appropriate to minimize the amount of unnecessary clicks, some of it is just going to be the format transition in general. Big blocks of text smashed into a tiny box at the bottom of the screen don't work very well.

Don't worry it's a recurrent problem with most Renpy games but having to click 10 or 20 times after an encounter is really quickly boring, at least for me and sincerely it's pitiful because your version of the game seems to be very interesting :)

The screen you show is very better but I did not have this, is it the next version?

I'm working on finishing the new bits of Lepo and Fee's quests, a sound effect pass on sex scenes that don't have them, then I'll at least run through once and test that there aren't any major bugs, and fixing whatever I happen to come across while testing that I think needs a quick change.

I have decided to wait on adding the extra scene after a Matron is acquired, that will be in the next full update or a mini update I'll throw out in a couple weeks (after the update is released). I ended up with the changes I made to Emelie, pretty much rewriting all of her quest sex scenes and expanded her a bit with part of the quest that fleshes out her place in the world. The original talk/story action for Lepo is only a single line, so there will be new lines of dialogue for talking, and a story and a fable for her to tell you about.

I'm also going to disable things that clearly have no purpose yet... so increasing relationships with characters will not be available because there is nothing unlocked by it yet (except Lepo on the new route), and no locations that don't have their characters implemented yet.

I'll also be able to implement small patches quicker if I do miss a bug or have a spelling/grammar mistake.

So that's the current state of my progress :biggrin::coldsweat:

You posted on Saturday to say you'd try to update on Saturday, considering I just found this I got excited. Ah well, still something to look forward to.
