I picked this up out of my backlog because I was curious about the cat-dude's TL efforts. Well, that and the girl is hot. No amount of curiosity is gonna have me playing a game where I couldn't enjoy the H. That said, before I get into the subject of my curiosity, I'll talk about the game itself for a bit.

This game is one of those "standard" NTR games where the girl's BF/hubby/whatever gets in trouble, and she has to do lewd shit to get him out of it. It's specifically of the "partner gets hurt" variant (Kubel is probably the most known example of this archetype) and it's nothing particularly special in terms of set-up. In some ways, it's honestly a lot worse than a lot of other examples out there by sheer dint of the fact that the action takes place in only three days, which is a ridiculously short amount of time for anyone to fall to the D without shenanigans... and there aren't any shenanigans to be had in this one.

Which means that in terms of satisfying corruption/NTR, this game sucks ass for people like me that want to have something to properly sink one's teeth into.

Basically, the "girl ends up liking dick" endings makes no sense, and the extra ending makes even less sense, it's just uber lazy. The "can't beat the monster in 3 days" ending is ok though.

Still, in spite of this terribly lazy set-up, I do want to give the dev props for one thing... and that's the fact that the game actually makes an effort to be a game, as limited as it is. What I mean by that is that Liza needs to beat the Chimera to save her BF by the end of the 3rd day, and while she has the option to do lewd things for items and equipment, she doesn't have to take it. However, if you don't take it, the game is actually decently difficult for an RPGM game and it forces you to think quite a bit in terms of what to do and when.

With optimal choices, it's actually possible to beat the Chimera on the 2nd day. It's not easy and may require a bit of RNG, but it's doable. However, actually taking those choice naturally without save scumming or whatnot is pretty much a matter of luck, because you don't know what the optimal course is. You have quests that you can take, but you don't know how difficult they are or what kinds of rewards they offer, so you have no idea what order to tackle them in to obtain optimal rewards. It's really easy to screw up and end up needing to rely on Bork's offer or hitting the bad ending where Liza can't kill the monster on day 3.

It's an interesting set-up that has the potential to be quite fun, though it falls short of being really great by dint of the fact that you have no way of figuring out a route to the good ending without luck or cheating. Basically, it's not a matter of skill or applying one's intellect, you need to rely on knowledge that you have as the player, but which the character can't have. That's always disappointing to me in these sorts of games, but still, the fact that the dev tried to do more than just "choose if Blondie gets fucked or not" like a lot of other games out there do is still a point in their favor.

Getting the good ending is not THAT hard as long as you know what you need to do. The game does tell you a couple of things that are important... the most important of which being the fact that you need to increase your party size by recruiting other adventurers. What the game doesn't tell you about this, but which is easy enough to figure out, is the fact that the adventurers act automatically and basically just attack and use skills, and the fact that you can change their equipment and that they can get XP. To that end, the faster you get them, the more levels you can pile up on them for the chimera, though that isn't absolutely important.

In any case, neat idea, could've used a better execution, but c'est la vie and all that.

Now, when it comes to the TL, this is fairly well done for an AI MTL. I've actually seen more mistakes in a number of Dazed's TLs, so it's nothing to complain about. That said, the game is TINY, so it's difficult to say if the quality is because Breezer did a particularly good job with handling it, or because DeepSeek didn't have to keep track of as much context as some of the bigger games out there require.

BreezerTheCat I put some things I noticed in a spoiler here. You can fix them or not at your leisure, but I felt that pointing some of these out is a good idea because on bigger games with more text and whatnot, I can see these spiraling into really big issue, depending on what caused them. Btw, the order I reference is the one seen in the gallery. This is not all that there's too be found in the game btw, this is just all I had patience to put together with screenshots and whatnot.

ANYway, I wasted more time with this than I usually would... Not the worst way to waste some time I suppose, but ultimately, the game is thoroughly mediocre. The dev had a good idea here, he just didn't take it anywhere near as far as he should have for a quality NTR game. Again though, at least they tried. More than I can say about a lot of others.

You made some really good observations here.. i would like to enlighten some things...
For this you and everyone reading this must understand how the code in this game is working...
This game had a very different system of picking out speaker name... Usually speaker names are stored in CODE101 but for this game speaker names are stored in CODE401...

Now the question is how the game is able to identify what is a speaker and what is not...
Well for that this game uses a TRP_Skit_Actor plugin which is linked to plugin.js in which two seperate functions control the image and speaker name i.e \\N<> name & input name function... This particular function is solely used for Lizashia and Bork because they have standing images in the game...rest characters are simply stored in \\N<> which directly identify the speaker... No big issue...

Let me give an example how this plugin actually works
Let's say text is..
{Lizashia} I love you too
So according to the functioning of the code it will display the text like
Lizashia
I love you too

But there are certain instances where the lizashia at the beginning is not a speaker but part of the narration...Like..
{Lizashia} I love you too
Now the game will display it as
{Lizashia} I love you too
But it should've looked like this
Lizashia I love you too

I purposely added {} to the name so that game understands to speaker but it kinda back fired because {} is now visible in narration aswell... it was originally for the game to identify the name and show character images accordingly..

But why the dialogue one looks like

Lizashia
I love you too

and narration one
Lizashia I love you too

This happens because of another function skit show and skit end which tell the plugin when to take the speaker name and when to not
1.png image2.png

I've so far explained whatever was becoming a hurdle for this game's translation....To this extent that dazed and kaoss helped me with it aswell...

In the events with errors you just sent me like the Day 1 HEv 3...
View attachment Day_1_H2_1.png.avif

This is the the code from the game
Capture1.PNG

if you look at it carefully there are 2 back slashes\\.. which marks the text as as a speaker... Therefore game reads it as
Seeing
Lizashia's weak resistance, Bork's actions so on...

But this is a narration therefore Seeing gets cut off instead and result is

Lizashia's weak resistance, Bork's actions so on...
This can only be fixed by going through and fixing each such problem manually.. because if i try to remove it from the batch it will affect the actual speaker names which will result in loading errors
Same problem with any other situation with missing text.... as for the heart and melody symbol... there were no full stop in the original game... therefore AI didn't add it is what i think... but that too can be performed manually buy doing a batch change in VSC

Finally grammar errors like You'll instead of I'll is basic AI problem... Not just Deepseek but other models slip too.. you know that as a fellow translator...

All these problems can be stated as part of the complexity in the plugin..
As you know i do this work on sheer goodwill... the games i want to play i translate them... and share it with other.. for nothing in return... some people likes it and supports me through kind words and remarks others go on and criticize it without knowing the hardship...Criticism is not a bad thing tbh it marks out the weak points but baseless criticism is....but that's how f95 community is... :KEK:
I everyday open f95 once to see if someone had a bug fix for my TL and i try to fix it immediately if i am not busy....

I've seen the problems you've mentioned and i'll fix them in the next patch
This is how i'll make my TL perfect.. with the help from you guys...
That's all for today from my side..
Thankyou :D

I'm no expert in coding, nor a translator, just a weirdo that's nitpicky about correct English. Every once in a while I threaten that Dazed will pick a game I'll seriously care about, and then I'll flood his Discord with every possible error ever for that TL. XD

That aside, looking at your explanation, it sounds like the way the Dev coded things might cause issues for the game in JP too, though it'd be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much of a pain in the ass to check for that. At they very least, it explain why some errors appear where they do.

For the punctuation bit, Japanese doesn't use full stops in the same way as English does, so if the TL is automated, you need to prep the tool to account for that and add them at the end of various lines while accounting for cases like symbols, excluding "~" signs and so on. (To be exact, they only use it to separate multiple sentences if they have a paragraph, but if a sentence stands on its own or is at the end of a paragraph, they won't necessarily have a full stop there.) I understand that Dazed has had some issues with this too, and you can still find some of his TLs that have this sort of problem. (Specifically, the Silver Bullet TL is particularly bad about it.)

In any case, I'll wish you luck with your work, especially if you pick up bigger games. Or Wolf RPG games. Also, thank you for the contribution. I'll always wish for more manual TLs, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the effort put here in the mean time.
