i really want a gloryhole scene of Aqua needing the money to pay for debts. i think they could frame it as kazuma was sick of her and told her to find work, so she goes to the succubus café and asks what they have available to also keep her identity secret. so they give her that job.

Yeah it would be really cool to take dev hours to develop a cuck-adjacent scene that won't appeal to the majority of the established player base! That's so smart, man.

If Kazuma didn't know she went to the succubus cafe to find work, you could always just have Kazuma - also on the succubi's recommendation - be the one on the other side. Still appeals to the cheating/NTR/prostitution/degradation fetishes without there actually being any other guys involved.
I don't personally think it would fit well in this game either way, but there are options to compromise if the dev wanted to add something like that.

I don't think that compromise would make anyone happy personally too close to NTR for the harem fans and it not actually being NTR wouldn't make the NTR fans happy

That aside the Dev himself announced that he had no interest in makeing any NTR focused content at the start of this project... makeing a 180 now would most likely loose him any credibility and the majority of his current supporters.
I doubt he'd be able to lure more NTR focused people in, especially since there already is a Konusuba NTR game on this site.

I don't see any improvement over the original idea. This proposal and the first one seem equally awful to me.

Besides, I have no intention of setting foot in the brothel.

It's not actually a brothel... you go there sign a contract and than have the sexiest dream you wished for... there is nothing physical going on htere... except for the MC wh get's special treatment.
In the Anime it was described like a cafe or at worst sleazy bar
