I've played both versions. Glad to see that your changes are doing exactly what I think the OG game needs to improve. Gangsama make a quite good game, with a lot of content, but in a very old style. Here are some of my thought about remake version compared to the OG game:
- First is to reduce the grinding. This is the thing that annoyed me the most in the original game. Not only is it time-consuming and tiring, it also ruins the emotional flow of the story
- The process of the heroines' coruption needs to be added (especially the 2 later characters, as Richelieu said, she was just a cameo that was hastily upgraded to the main character). For me, this is the best part of NTR, not when the heroines were completely corrupted at the end of the game. Glad to see that Templar has focused more on these scenes.
- The NTR/Good point system is there but should be more interactive instead of locking the routes into the first scene. I think it would be great if there were more free roam events that appeared earlier and were based on this point system.
- In the OG game, if you failed against the boss, it would immediately lead to a defeat scene and end the game immediately. In this new version, it appears in the form of the MC's dream. I like Templar's way of doing it better, but I suggest adding more ambiguity to this events. For example, when the main character wakes up, you can see some suspicious points from the female lead, the setting, the supporting characters,... but it doesn't completely confirm whether the incident happened or not.
- I like the way Templar Studios adding more plot and scenes for the supporting characters even though they are only in animated pixel form. Gangsama has built quite attractive supporting characters, but the lack of sex content for these characters is very regrettable.
These are just some personal opinions, I always respect and appreciate the creativity and independence of the authors.
Good luck!
