My android port has an alternative save location, the save will remain intact when you uninstall the game so don't worry about starting over. And my port has a textbox opacity slider and text size slider.

The dev is putting the game on hold because of personal reasons and did not say when they will be back but I wouldn't expect an update this year and they did not say who would be in the next update if they were to return.

Yeah most likely because if the dev takes at least 6 months off and then starts the new build if we look at the track record of previous builds. It would take 6-9 months for it to be out so yeah i wouldn't expect anything this year.
