Dev Update!
Happy (late) 4th!
I know I said last time that I was hoping to start up the weekly updates again and then left you in the dark (again). Full disclosure, last week I had a family reunion (something that happens every summer) and what I didn't realize was that I was going to be away from my computer the whole time. This set me back a wee bit, but I am back at it. In hindsight I should've posted something from my phone, but I didn't. I'm sorry for not being transparent with everyone and I apologize. I will do better. For the sake of transparency I will say that I will be travelling to another state later this month for a wedding, but that is only for a weekend and should not interrupt regular posting. If it does, then I will just make a post from my phone like I should've done last week.
Enough excuses, let's get to the good stuff. Since it was Independence day here in the USA yesterday, I wanted to give you all a nice little holiday bonus with Helen. I wanted to post this yesterday, but I was coding build 6 and time got away from me, so here I am today. (I know I said no more excuses, but at least It's for a GOOD reason this time

) Progress on Build 6 is going good. Not the smoothest, but still good. If you recall from previous updates, then you'll remember that I'm adding a lot of characters to the new build. Since we have new characters all interacting in new scenes I am trying to get all of their dialogue and mannerisms varied in the scenes that they appear in. As I've said before, I am not the best writer, but this is a challenge that I am actually having fun with.
I'll leave you guys at that. I PROMISE to start doing the frequent updates next week. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Okay this is the third time that the dev has said that there will be weekly updates. My monthly sub ends next week and if there is no dev update with a teaser I am going back to the $1 tier instead of renewing the $5 tier.
