if theres one enemy i was hating on throughout this entire experience, it was the dam Shadow Girl. just barely any audio cue, able to catch up to you apparently and can teleport to your room if she (or any enemy for that matter) is 2-3 rooms trailing behind you. only 9/10 memos gotten so far and its very last one im missing, don't know if the "Stay" ending gives it cause i did the "Leave" ending but man that was tedious to do

There's a rattle snake cue that tells you where the shadow comes from. Yeah, it's fast, but turning up sound effects helps a lot at hearing footsteps or any enemy, while doing so with BGM helps tracking the pianist (although rain gets louder).
Memos are obtained at random. I managed to get all on two rounds, but three/four should be enough. If anything, light up the shadow with your flashlight to slow it down.

I'm currently modding this game, which includes changing sprites/sounds and tweaking with mob's code. It's been one week and managed to understand how to use Undertale Mod Tool with some help.
This is progress so far:
Basically, I'm trying to make a "Joke" mode for a game I always come back to. If you feel interested on this, I'd like to hear some recommendations I could include on my work.

So far, I've been using Undertale Mod Tool. You can replace, add and modify .dat files, although I'm havig trouble adding new audio into the game.oh wow this is amazing! Looks like this title's gaining traction. It just received its own page yesterday. I'll judge for myself this game's difficulty.
Edit: Shit, them ghosties just Omae mou Shindiru me to death every time. Resource management is my weakness.

I don't think so, but what you can do is edit the mob's code from data.win file so you don't lose hp when caught. I'm using Undertale Mod Tool to edit said code.

lowkey wasnt fun for me, especially being RnG dependent and whatnot
i really want to like the game, but relying on item pickups and the clues being somewhat lowkey useless sometimes wasnt fun

(as already mentioned in the thread.You want to edit step event for each mob, more precisely the last bit, which plays the hscene event when caught.

I double checked and what you want to delete is a conditional that reduce your life by 1 each time you cum. It's on Global init->gml_GlobalScript_scr_hscene, inside "function hscene_cum". Once you do that, you're basically immortal.
