[Written during Day 3 update]
If say, you enjoy the experience of LSD Dream Emulator, and you would like an adult game based around that same experience with "combat", big boobies and asses, then this game is for you as it's essentially what this is all about. But the game is more interesting than what you might think at first glance.
Enter Harold, see him as he goes about with his fappy night club job with all the old, weird, creepy, and horny people he has to face, with how nonchalant he is and his snarky personality providing the game's overall humor.
Then you get the Plane, the exact reason Harold develops such a personality than just to cope with his dead-end job to fuck middle age ladies. Being a gorefest horrorland with all the squishy floors and buxom "monster girls" as your heart desires, oh, and the squishy MS Paint monsters too I guess.
Despite its low quality, or more because of its low quality, stuff can get eerie to look at, even more so because of their description. I would admit, the sound and "music" aspect of the Plane only provides more creepiness to the environment, it's disgusting and bizarre, and certainly caught me off guard at first.
One thing I also noticed besides the depressed dialogues from the customers is that Harold's description and Liz's comments in the Plane is somewhat noticeably cruder than in the day, the plane is supposed to be revealing actual thoughts perhaps?
Upon the second visit of the night club, the same exact nonchalant response from Harold to the unintelligible speech the horrors around him in an attempt to not break the "symmetry" really get you to understand then begin to sympathize with his situation and role as the Planewalker; not to mention, it plays to the environmental horror well. While your yandere monster partner making comments of your surrounding and threats against your "cheating ass" provides the dark humor here.
Then there's the ongoing plot around the other Planewalkers and Rehabilitator as Harold tries to gather more information about the Plane to do some, there's not much going on early, but I'm starting to like it.
With concept such as the membranes might change your ending like in Lisa the Painful (in the full game anyway) and the machine that Perse sent you that provides a "Plane-undoing" aura around it, I hope we'll see more of it soon enough.
Overall, the worldbuilding of this game is great and interesting so far if you don't treat as a simple fap-and-go kind of game, since the sex scenes (at least pre-Day 3) are a bit "subpar", as the developer would say, at the moment. But they do say that they will improve on it at later, so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Then again, the sex was never the focus anyway, you could change the sex scenes around a little and the current story would probably be about the same, can likely sell it on Steam even. (despite the adult content ban being lifted in recent years)
But I do have to complain about is how there's no running function at all besides the "hallway/village" sequence in Day 3; while yes, it plays into the experience when you are in the Plane, but it wouldn't hurt during the day when you're trying to examine stuff to see Harold's more humorous tidbits of his plain surroundings.
