Yeah, for some reason the devs don't just include it.
Think I remeber reading somewhere it was some file-size consideration, but considering how they do their images/scenes the worst way with consideration to game size...hardly seems relevant anymore
Games at over 3gb now, just include the damn RTP

compressed version 1.12F of the game ~80%!!!
because this game engine (rpg maker ace) does not support webp
i made a script that can revent the webp compression that i did on Pictures automaticaly
how to : just run the dec.bat inside the game (press 3 and enter) everything should be done in about 20-30 minutes ( ~20k Images )

ps: i know that a bat file is weird hacky way for the average joe but you can open the bat and see there is nothing suspicious going on , scan it with whatever you want

It's just too big I can't imagine someone trying to translate it to other language(s).

Hey, does anyone know how to solve this issue with the DLC. The art is super stretched out and I cant seem to solve this problem. Here is a picture of what it looks like on the main menu. It persists throughout.
