no, stand alone storydont understand Beasty+Shota DLC , its just gallery ?
Are you referring to the Beasty+Shota DLC? If so, why even call it DLC? "DLC" usually refers to additional levels of games, or additional side stories, or other downloadable content that can be downloaded to add to the already existing game. You're wrong. They're separate projects.
Fleeting Iris have currently 3 official versions finished:
Original: RPGmaker version ~ 1.18
Keypoints:
- Play the game as the developer envisioned it via top down playstyle in RPGmaker
- Play style is slow
- Scenes are Non HD
- Highly recommended to play with magpie to upscale the quality.
Renpy version: An officially ported version from RPGmaker to Renpy
Keypoints:
- Very fast to progress the story to get scenes and play the game
- All scenes are HD
- Since its a port done in cooperation with the developer it plays really smooth, but since the original game was developed for RPGmaker there might be 'oddities' here and there.
Fleeting Iris What If (Beasty+Shota DLC) RPGmaker version ~ 1.6
Keypoints:
- A standalone game that needs to be played on its own
- Have a long 'What if' Story that includes Shota content - Highly recommended
- Have a short 'What if' Story that includes Bestiality
- Highly recommended to play with magpie to upscale the quality.
And a few other extra scenes.
Please note!
There are other versions like the DLC in renpy, but its currently unfinished.
There is also a mac version and a android version for the renpy 'what if' version, but again also not finished.
- Unfinished versions are available on the developers homepage!
DLC literally means (D)own(L)oadable (C)ontent, which is exactly what it is. It also is, as you correctly mentioned, "additional stories", and yes, separate game in itself with three pretty sizeable side stories and a couple one-shots. Two of those stories could easily stand as independent games in their own right. Are you referring to the Beasty+Shota DLC? If so, why even call it DLC? But, basically, you're saying just download the Beasty+Shota DLC and it is a separate game in itself?
I did mention the Christmas patch, have fixed the text to reflect that. You overlooked the Christmas edition, which is exclusively available in IF for RPG Maker. That should be the preferred choice for now, rather than the Ren'Py version.

Would you recommend playing the Renpy Version for the casual players? Does the Renpy and RPG maker have the same stories, plot threads, quests (if there are in this game), gameplay, etc? Like will I miss something if I play Renpy instead of the Original RPGmaker game?Fleeting Iris have currently 3 official versions finished:

Yes Renpy is surely recommended for new players, I would even go so far to say its perhaps the best version honestly!Would you recommend playing the Renpy Version for the casual players? Also why is the Renpy file size so much larger than the RPGmaker? Higher image quality? From 3 GB in the OG it turned to 8 GB in Renpy. 5 GB for increase of quality of all images?
What do you mean by "oddities" here and there, care to give an example?
try this just put it in the fonts folderit says unable to find gothic fonts how can i fix this
here i get the same prblm while playing rpgm version is there any soultiongetting this while going into the courthouse View attachment 4730747
There is a new Christmas Story, that you can play as a seperate side story in the " Beasty+Shota DLC ". When you start a new game, you get to choose which side story to play, the christmas story is the one on the right. What's the DLC update about
Yes there is but i can't make it play correctly some scenes are enlarged and in some black screen without error , playing in Linux don't know if in windows worksWould love to try the renpy version but 8 GB is crazy since I was planning to play it on my phone. Is there a compressed version? can't seem to find one.
