I'll freely admit, as I posted, that a lesser and evil part of me (particularly considering the peculiarities of Patreon developers) felt that it could be a feint. After all, the Net is full of horrible people. He did prove me wrong, though, despite the fact that his communication style was very... poor. Still, he's right and we who doubted wrong, undeniably.

That said, on the update... art's great, but seriously, some extra effort for the writing could do wonders.Scenes keep getting shorter. The endings in particular feel a tad throwaway, even if the AV actress one , thanks to the art, got a good chuckle out of me (reminding me of the old Clara De Noche by Trillo&Bernet).

I felt that too this patch but it was mostly because some felt more like story type cutscenes such as the one between Adriana and Robert in the hero path the week they spend together. There were only 6 or 7 scenes that felt like actual hentai scenes, the rest felt a bit story oriented. Maybe that changes next patch.

Seeing his mom death certificate makes me feel miserable because now it's just too real. His mom died just a couple months ago, a few days before his birthday mind you, his dad is constantly in the hospital and last week when he was admitted he was apparently in critical condition with an aggravated sepsis, cancer and many other health issues. If this wasn't already bad enough, he has people shitting on him, making fun of the situation and accusing him of making all this stuff up just because they haven't got their hands in their porn game yet.

Try putting yourself in his shoes for a second, picture that. It legitimately makes me sick to my stomach and I'm truly sorry I had to witness such a poor display of humanity from some people.

The thing here is: I don't know the developer, I can't pay for becoming a patron (Because I don't want a credit card yet).

When he posted about his father being hospitalized just two months after his mother's death, it seemed a little suspicious. Even more when delays with this game especifically happen a lot of times. The first thing I thought was: "If the patch isn't finished yet, he just has to say so". Of course, I know situations like the one he is going through can happen, so I didn't accuse him of lying.

Still, the fact that he doesn't believes someone would lie in that way just to justify a project's delay amazes me. People do lie like that, more than we would think.

Bringing somebody to that point to upload death and hospital certificates... I am really out of words and usually I don't have that kind of problems!
I went through similar stuff like the dev and I have to say, no TO UNDERLINE that if I were in his place my words would be DEFENATLY NOT AS NICE AS HIS!!!!!

Just checked up on this thread given the update and after reading what's been going on I have to say I haven't been so disgusted by this community in a long time. To harass a developer to the point that he posts the death certificate of his mother and hospital records for his father is shameful. Get some perspective. This is a porn game you're not even paying for.

Since I didn't sub to his Patreon I don't really have the rights to complain about the delays. A streak of bad luck like this can happen to anyone (given he's saying the truth) and he deserves some extra time. Nobody deserves to get mocked for a close one's misfortune let alone death.

At the same time I can't really blame everyone for complaining about the delays either and finding it hard to believe Starke, they were pretty notorious for the long delays it had back then.

Patrons might have some rights to complain or inquire about the details, although given the subject at hand, it would still be absolutely insensitive to make a big deal about it. The freeloading pirates on this site that mocked and complained about such matters should reevaluate their lives though. The world doesn't revolve around you. Being anonymous on the internet doesn't give you a free pass to be an asshole. Your words can still affect others. Think a little before posting.

That's the last Sato route scene where she runs to the park aftwards iirc.

Unless you mean the usurper Fujiko ending where Ayame lets Sato get arrested then she's grabbed by some thugs and Fujiko takes her place. Haven't played that one in a while but I think that one ended there and it was an ending.
