Well this visual novel/game was disappointingly short... I thought it was going to be a lengthy and entertaining story, but it wasn't meant to be...

The visuals are an artistic 2D style that was kind of like a cross between Japanese anime and more realistic western animation style... The backdrops were all very unique and fit well with the characters stylization...

The script started off really strong with a lot of character development and I was enjoying how it appeared the plot was progressing... It felt at first like it was going to be a fun story about the life of a female protagonist, but in the end it was more like a quick dating sim with sex at the end... Depending on the choices you make, you will eventually get to an erotic encounter of one form or another after which you get a message as to what end you've achieved and that is it... I was rather disappointed that this VN started out very good and ended on such a quick note... It was a jaded experience since the story seemed to start off so strong but ended very quickly with a whimper... Because of that, this really isn't much in the way of a visual novel then it is a sex game, to see how many sex endings you can get to through multiple play throughs...

Overall, i was enjoying this VN from the beginning, as it showed a lot of promise for a deep and entertaining story, but ended up being just a short dating/sex sim style game that ended very abruptly after a quick sex encounter... So disappointing to have such a great beginning and end so quickly... Now, because of the style of this VN, I'll assume it is meant to be played multiple times selecting different choices to achieve each end, but that doesn't make for a good erotic visual novel, but instead just makes it a sex game with some dialogue/monologue...

I mean... we are talking about Dharker Studio. None of their works can be considered a good VN. Only something that you can use to fap and stop. Maybe, and I say maybe, Echo Tokyo: Phoenix could be something interesting when it will be released.

Other than that, you can't expect too much from them - aside some good quality h-scenes, like the one's from Negligee for example.

Fortunately nope, not all of the developers are like this. Dharker Studios are just.. like this. For example Winged Cloud, their "Sakura" games, are just like Dharker Studio's ones, no more, no less. They create VN just for the eroge and they don't have any interesting stories.

Disappointed that the shoot didn't have a better ending choice as in her accepting to have a career in Porn or just Glamour photography. So too few endings that way. Liked the art work though.

Game fails to start. I'm running 32-bit Windows XP with SP3 on an air-gapped machine. Also please update the installation instructions as it needed .NET 4.x. I installed dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe yet it still doesn't work. Could this game require a network connection or perhaps a 64-bit machine? The included patch didn't change anything.

Patch is only for the Hcontent , game was released on steam with censor/missing content
The exe are x32 so you should be fine

And side note for ppl that don't like to keep the IGG crap around, like the internet shortcuts or the readme txt , you will get a crappy dialog letting you know that the junk files are missing...go ahead and delete the AlexasWildNight.exe from the main folder and the 3 junk files and launch the game from lib\windows-i686\AlexasWildNight.exe
You should be able to run the game using that exec from lib ... @lots`o`fap
