With the trailer for the latest update i really hope co-op is a thing at some point holy moly it would go so hard, instant buy if real..
Even if the co-op player is just an overglorified puppeted NPC..
The defense mission thingy looked so much like a map editor too...

I'm like 99% sure that there is no online co-op besides online 4ASCEND that's already been a thing.

These NPC are AI controlled, as well as Ixsha and Alma.

The last time I played was in version 0.28a. After just a few runs, I managed to finish it. I realized that having too many infantry units consumed too much mana from the silo, so I focused on strengthening my artillery units as much as possible. I didn’t use support units because they didn’t do anything—they just let their allies collapse all the way down to the edge of the map. I’m not sure if version 0.28e has fixed that yet
Hey, do you still happen to have that 0.28a folder? I've been looking for it for a good while because Bepinex won't work for 0.28i anymore, and I can't be arsed to look into the issue anymore (It's really been bugging me for 2 days and I've been trying to find the issue when there isn't one, it does work, but the plugins folder does not apply the plugins anymore)

Honestly,

I kinda wish or hope this Game, sooner or later, includes a sort of parasitic monster that can posses Girls (and/or the protagonist Girl) and make them extra horny while controlling them (Yuri opponents?) and potentially gives them Bigger boobs and/or futanari (temporary)

Kinda like in these two Flower Games:

Man~ i am getting more and more excited with each update the Developer is posting~ that Zone is going to be a doozy by the looks of it~ so much features are and puzzles~!

Newest post has the female looking mons and it has a grab attack where it kiss and drain you. One of the animation on Naname's previous post also has it ends up in a vore animation

I think vore will be somewhat of a focus in general since the new enemies from the siege are going to be in the new area. Their is also an unfinished worm-like monster I gleamed from livestream but I can't say what it does because it looked like it lacked animations at this point in development.

Version 0.28 is out and has seen several updates—with the current latest available version v0.28i.

As always you can get it from one of the developer’s blogs, like their for example.
Alternatively, you can get them from mirror links as well, provided by the dev from the Ci-En article as well.

This won’t be the only thing I’m going to bring to the table though as that would be boring.
I’d like to share some contents from their recent Ci-En articles regarding development for those who don’t want to bother.
Last time I did this, I tried this development updating thing, I downloaded and compressed the showcase videos in order to make them unloadable here. This time however, I will just provide a direct link to the video itself so that people can view them directly without the need of accounts. I’ve decided to do it like last time. Apologies for the low quality videos, I tried.

The developer’s currently working on expanding the “mountain area”; with that, they plan to add more elements that weren’t present before in the forest area—these include new BGM as well as gameplay gimmicks from combat or environment. Below is a showcase of a new crotch rope puzzle area.

It seems that the dev’s taking feedbacks into consideration—probably from Patreon supporters, Discord, Twitter (X) or somewhere else. Several puzzles/obstacles in the Forest area will be replaced and moved elsewhere and new puzzles/obstacles will be replacing them.
Also, in regards of more feedback from Twitter (X), there’s soap bubbles that made a brief appearance during defense battles; since it’ll take too long to get to them for casual play, they are making a stage that has the soap bubbles as a stage gimmick somewhere; the dev mentioned that it’s an inspiration from Animal Well.

There will also be new platforming challenges the features new types of platforms; the devs says “you’ll probably instantly notice the inspiration from Celeste” with this one, much like the previous one. These will replace the previous difficult stages as well; as mentioned earlier, the older ones will be sent elsewhere instead. Nothing much more to say here.

There will be a new status effect—poison. The duration of the effect is said to be fairly long. Furthermore, staying submerged in poisonous water changes it to “Deadly Poison”; making it a permanent poison. So please make sure to carry an antidote with you when you’re planning to cross deadly waters in the future.

They are also adding dark areas—ones that requires Noel to carry a light source with her. Noel can also produce light via magic or shotgun as well. Along with that, these areas will have pre-summoned enemies in them as opposed to the usual “break the mana flowers for enemies to appear”. Danger level adjustments apply to these units and the treasure chests drop as usual.

Back in the mountain area development (assuming the previous ones are in the forests). There’s a new enemy type called “Mountain Leeches”. These little guys flies towards chest, mouth or the front or rear end. After attaching itself to the body, they’ll suck magical power off of you. A single one of these won’t be much of a threat, however, be careful in slime covered areas and don’t get yourself surrounded. (heh)

There will be a new enemy named “Queen Leech” that will appear in a certain area in the mountain, it’s a mini-boss similar to the Fox and the Frog. This mini-boss has crushing assaults that uses its size as a weapon and attacking with exploding projectiles laced with poison. Try to avoid being captured and drenched in its poisonous liquid at all cost.

With that, the dev has said the new mountain area is nearing completion. Of course there will be more gimmicks that haven’t been shown yet, so stay tuned via their development articles or through my posts, whichever works for you (and if I ever plan on continuing).

That’s usually what minor updates do. They’re for fixing bugs, small adjustments and quality of life updates.
The major update transition from v0.27 to v0.28 does add a couple of stuff though, to list a few for those unaware:
- A new defense game mode located in Noel’s school where you help in the defense along with other NPCs.
- A new spell located in the school.
- New items.
- There’s new enemies and new gimmick located in the defense battle and new BGM for that scenario, so be sure to check it out.
- They’ve added new areas: Slum Blacksmith for staff replacements, and Summit Facility and the Library for lore reading.
- The blacksmith introduces 5 new staves (including your beginner staff, a total of 6) that has their own appearance, stats and playstyles. Furthermore, the blacksmith can upgrade your staves.
- There are more quests in the guild, specifically rescuing quests that has only one difficult battle for them as opposed to the other ones requiring multiple battles. You can also witness NPCs getting violated this way, however, it doesn’t seem that the animation for them haven’t been finished yet.
