Hello!
This game was ported on NS console (homebrew). Someone knows where to put the uncensored file.dat on the console? How to install mods?
I don't know What is an NS console, but if it has the same file system, then you just drop the file in the folder, where the AlienQuest-EVE.exe is located. Also, the name of the file should be "Uncensored.dat" and it should be empty, afaik.

I loaded my save file after a long time and I'm missing all my gallery. I'm LV 43, all stuff, all the map. Is the gallery stored elsewhere? AppLocale? Reg?
Also, any savefile or way to unlock it faster?,
The simplest way to unlock the gallery is just by pressing F1 in the gallery or even at the main menu screen. You know it worked if you hear a sound after you press the key.

On other note. I came back to replay this great game, remembering that the biggest letdown for me was how fast it became too easy to be enjoyable. So, I downloaded HardMode (or was it called Boned mod before?) mod and after much struggling and getting butthurt over it I decided to make an NotSoHard mod out of it. Even if I am the type of person, who enjoys challenge and overcoming stuff, some of the design decisions in that mod seemed more on the side of sadistic game design, rather than presenting a meaningful challenge. I made some adjustments to stuff I considered overtuned to preserve the difficulty of combat, while toning down stuff that could get you locked out of progressing through the game.
Anyway, here it is:

Well, the game saves some data like HP and MP values, number of skill points in it's save file and never checks for their validity. If you just keep playing from the "previous" save these values will just be read from the save instead of following the mod's progression. Outside of that, additional NPC or player mechanics should work as intended, since they are set up inside the code. There may be some bugs if they aren't initialised properly, but it depends on how the code is implemented. So, the recommendation to start from a new save is generally there to make sure you won't end up having too much resources ahead of time which will trivialise gameplay or encounter bugs due to not having some things initialised at the start of the game. In other words you won't know if it works unless you try, just make sure to back up your save (which is in the same folder, where the main .exe is located).

One of the things that made Dark Souls a success was camera limitations, it created challenges and attractiveness. In Alien Quest, camera retrictions can give the game more challenges, and add up to its attractiveness too. Limiting how far zooming out can be, and you will play the game in a new perspective.

Cheat Menu Mod for AQE v1.0.1
View attachment 5122709
This is a cheat menu mod for AQE v1.0.1 using BepInEx without any changes in original game library. I thought it's more simple and convenient than a CE table.

To install the mod, simply extract the attached ZIP file twice and copy all contents into the game directory where AlienQuest-EVE.exe is located. The archive includes a complete BepInEx setup with my AlienQuest_CheatMenu.dll placed inside the plugins subfolder.

When you launch AlienQuest-EVE.exe, you should see both the BepInEx console and the game window appear. If not, I am afraid you have to figure it out by troubleshooting BepInEx in your system. Note that this mod targets the 64-bit version of the game.

I fully tested all features of the mod but didn't test them in any other systems than Windows 11. I also ensured that it's free from any virus or malware before uploading. If you want, you may be able to look at the source code of this mod using dnspy or something.

and followed the instructions and all but still .mods doesn't work

When I reinstalled them, they still did not work. .

they still don't work, so I think there is a problem with mods

<><>
write step by step what I should do to make it work. How do I install

I don't have any knowledge regarding this, but I feel like...is it possible to put the uncensored.dat into the main game folder, and install the mod...then homebrew it?

As cool as this hard mode is, trying to escape a H scene? Fucking impossible. Way too many moving parts and not enough things explained to the player about what they are supposed to do. You aren't supposed to spam the struggle like normal. I get that. You're supposed to time it with the flashes? No, because it needs to be a 1-2 second delay, your stamina bar is too low during the scene, I guess you can't recover it? The sync between the purple flash and your input actually working is delayed, so you have to purposely delay your inputs.

Shame because it would add a new way to play, but the Hard mode mod doesn't make it hard, it makes it confusing

Yep, there are a lot of things that are poorly explained, struggle mechanic being the worst offender. Unfortunately, I couldn't find where in the code those purple flashes are described, so I left them as they were. Technically, the original mod's readme explains that you push the struggle input in between the flashes and it works, in most cases. However, there is a glaring unintended behavior there if you push it too soon after the flash and your struggle bar goes down instead of up. I'm willing to change this, but I simply can't find where it is. If you have any insight on this please tell me.

As it is now, the struggle system somehow works, but it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out the correct timing and rhythm. The effectiveness of struggle heavily depends on arousal, heat and stamina. You don't run out of stamina entirely, it can never go below a certain very low level, so there always is some resouce to struggle with. However, high arousal and heat can lower it significantly. The difficulty of struggle also diminishes with the dick size mechanic, so it's hard upfront and gets easier overtime.

Basically, the game's scaling makes it so it's very hard at the beginning and as you get more tools, skill points, weapons and HP/MP points it gets easier, but not too easy so it becomes a cakewalk.

Yep,struggle mechanic just made this mod fxxk up. I don't mean this mod is bad,in fact the bone mod brought many almost genius ideas. But maybe it’s because of the limitations of the game engine that the actual running effect is very bad.It would be nice if we could get a version that removed this mechanic:cool:

All right, there's another way to solve this problem. The original author locked some options. If you can try to unlock the ‘H scene(not game over)’,things will become much simpler. If you don't like this mechanic, just turn it off
