Progression in the game is a nightmare. You grind to finish your goal and finally you are making progress, then nope, go collect 10 toasters from garbage for an unrelated quest, now go to the park, now spend several days reading in the library, ok now go fight crabs. The game will do anything to prevent you from progressing with the girls and none of it leads to any lewd scenes. You are one step away from a lewd scene and the game comes to a halt because you now need to feed your useless computer.

This is your opinion. Personally, I didn't like the old style very much. And why did he leave? It didn't seem like much money to him, and he didn't want to draw any more.

Never played this one, but the old style looks like a retarded 80's anime protagonist from what I've seen.
New version looks better, from the previews at least.
