Unable to find any via tag search see:

Must've happened within the last few hours.

You are still able to find the games if you have the direct link for it though.

Edit: looks like they weed through all the NSFW games and ban those that are against Mastercards & Visas censorship.

Edit 2: someone DM'd me this list

Edit 3: Itch updated their Adult Conetent FAQ

Are you logged in? Because I am not and I am seeing games perfectly fine, as always.
I am. Hmm maybe an IP thing. Am currently on a Italian IP. And nothing. Lemme check a few more EU IPs and then different regions.

Edit: Yeah nothing. Am logged in and tried 3 different EU IPs, Honkong, Japan and US.
The search for the 3 I linked all show max 50 results.

Oh, so Itch is joining Steam in banning all the NSFW content too? Great... That would explain what's going on.
Steam isn't banning all the NSFW content. They are banning non-consensual sex scenes, including sexual violence, rape, etc... and incest - yes, even within drawn/modeled content, not human. This adds to the ban they have on bestiality, minors in adult content, etc.

But there are still THOUSANDS of NSFW games on Steam.

I'm seeing some people complain on the itch forums too. Apparently Itch is doing a Steam right now because Visa and Mastercard are threatening to end their service.
Itch shouldn't have let those games on their site to begin with, based upon their TOS that have been in place since at least September 2015. No non-consensual sex scenes, including sexual violence, rape, etc.... and they have had the rules that creators have to follow payment processor rules during the whole time too.

People should keep an eye on Subscribestar, next.

Since itch like every mainstream sites no longer accept adults games just to comply with the payment cards rules in not accepting adult games and movies in mainstream sites, anyone who made adult games from itch site want to relocate to an indie adult games site or make an adult version of itch which accepts every adult games?

Especially why the search section had hidden all the adult games in the site?

Again, NSFW games are still hosted on Itch, Steam, Patreon, etc ... They just don't allow CERTAIN NSFW content like rape/non-con sex, incest, bestiliality, minors in adult content.... Let's keep this in mind with the correct context instead of knee-jerking.

Also, that ain't gonna happen... see the thread someone made with that exact same idea last week:

In a year or two, they'll come for fellatio, then facesitting, maybe anal after that. Then it's NTR's turn, and in the end, they'll come for vanilla. :KEK:

Edit: If it's not clear who "they" refers to, it's payment processors.

Itch currently has 2 summer games bundles that end in two days. The smaller one had 2 games removed while the bigger one had 7 games removed. They were active during the entire time the bundle was up, until recently. While I know bundles are hosted by users, I doubt anyone can start a bundle without Itch staff approval. Why would they suddenly have a issue now with these games?

With the latest UK and EU law requirements, customer age verification would pretty much become mandatory everywhere.

The problem in itch's case is that they were already only allowing devs to upload games and either give them away for free (and do patreon funding), or devs directly selling to customers at their own risk, but no "collect payments through itch" (they just didn't enforce that limit much , but they've been explicitly pointing at payment processor ToS for a while and all processors disallow most or all NSFW, so they've been implicitly saying "just don't.").

In other words, adult games already didn't make itch that much money for the risks involved.
So implementing ID-based age verification just for those likely won't happen, due to lack of cost-benefit.

Meanwhile, this could spell trouble on SubStar and Patreon too, because if those platforms don't introduce customer age verification for not only devs, but also all people who want to support NSFW devs, they may shift the legal responsibility towards the developers themselves...
Now take a guess how many of those have the legal and financial means for that.

Btw, this may even apply to places like f95 at some point.

Make no mistake, this has the potential to kill any and all indie 18+ games, completely.
And don't put it past them that they're gunning for exactly that.

The staff doesn't look at all the content in games. They mostly rely on reporting systems. That's why. It's not that they suddenly "have a issue" it's that they were suddenly forced to actually start looking at the content they were allowing to be posted.

Again, look at their rules which have been in place for at least a decade. If a developer either didn't read the rules or did and tried to pull a fast one ----- time was going to eventually catch up to them.

They don't give a flying fuck about indie 18+ games, specifically. They aren't gunning for anyone, in particular. They have a mission about "morality" - whether you agree with it or not -- but don't make it more nefarious than it may be.
