Like, I'm a person of a not insignificant degree of anticapitalist inclination (I will not get into the specifics on f95zone dot to I would rather rip my eyes from my still living skull), and even I haven't brought this up in my circles, because the discussion would be something like:
"Isn't it fucked how your ability to pay for things is subject to the whims of parasitic payment processor middlemen? Steam just banned whole categories of games not because of their own volition but because Visa/Mastercard, who themselves were likely influenced by Australian puritanical nonprofits."
"Oh, I didn't hear about that. Which categories?"
"...Well, it was porn, but the basic fact that they have this power to begin with is kinda disagreeable, no?"
"Steam banned all porn?"
"Uhhh..."
Hell, maybe if they do actually go for 'all the LGBTQ+ stuff' that the fearmonger talking points insist are going to be next, we might have some shot for proper public discourse over this, but for that exact reason I feel like the perps here are going to stay on their lane (as they have for a long time, even if they have only started cracking down on enforcement in the last couple of years). They might have an agenda, but as shown here, they have been pretty apt at getting their agenda written into policy, which means they probably aren't moron.
