Just keep asking around and feeling around for whatever ends up being the safe haven.

Torrenting isn't the answer though because the problem isn't availability. Customers can't "pay" developers using torrents. It's a neat project though and if you use it, awesome!

The solution to payment is to use cryptocurrency. This issue is exactly what Satoshi made bitcoin to solve. Bitcoin has issues with occasional traffic fees, but there are a lot of other options like Monero which is probably the second most popular option that people are actually using to buy stuff. I've used Monero to pay a dev here before and the fees were like a fraction of a penny.

it takes days to do, it seems sketchy, you dont really know what money the value is, so like you add 80 in to buy something and then by the time you come to pay its now only 75, so you always have to go over what you need just in case

How are you going to make money on your game if only like 1% of people are willing to jump through those hoops, I get it, youre right, but it wont work until something like that works like a card and a bank only private.

Monero shouldn't take days. Transactions happen in a minute or so. Do you mean establishing a node? Because yeah that takes a long time because you are basically downloading every transactional data from the beginning. You can use Monero without hosting your own node. The point of a self hosted node is for privacy reasons like you don't want your ISP to know you're sending money.

Monero does fluctuate in value, but it's pretty consistent. The way I use it is that I hold bitcoin. Then I trade it for the exact amount of monero I want to pay someone with. It's not the uber private way, but I'm not trying to evade taxes or anything.

Normies don't like it, but they also didn't like subscription services when they first came out. Ideally for sure unfucking these Payment Processors is the best option, but in the case of armageddon, I think we will be forced to use some kind of cryptocurrency. Not just for AVNs but for all other kinds of things that are being banned over the last several decades.

Devs who truly want to make a game for people to play will still make their game even if they don't have support. If the game is good, people will go out of their way to ensure they can support the dev. Ironically, these bans can be helpful for eroge as a whole in that without PP support, scammers and milkers won't be incentivized to "develop" for a year just to release a few pngs. lol
