and THERE IT IS, what a dishonest little cuckroach you are, why dont you take your own advice and read the whole thing
He made the moral argument as to what is right, and you admit that as you go off about legality and how subjectivity and feelings dont matter, he replied with the same thing I did and you deflect away from it.
He clearly was making a moral argument, and you knew it as you even replied to that, but now you are pretending you didnt and cutting the quote out despite it being right fucking there in this thread.
"i never said what is being done is right"
(with the context of the guy you are replying to saying)
" if every single word of what you said is factually correct, it doesn't make you right"
You reply
"I am right. This has NOTHING to do with what you think is right. It does have 100% to do with what's "legal" "
Yeah, you arent fooling anyone. You clearly knew what he meant and now you are attempting pathetic reversal because you NEED to defend your precious corpo censorship. "its the law though" isnt a defence, not only is it NOT the law, it wouldnt matter if it is because it is unjust and it isnt right. You knew that already, but as I already predicted, youre too dishonest to ever admit that and were primed to deflect, ignore, or lie you way away.
Anything to suck the corpo cock, eh? Pathetic, really.
I specifically stated what I meant and referenced what they said.
If you mistook it either because I wasn't clear or you misunderstood - let me restate completely.
The person said "If every single word of what you said is factually correct, it doesn't make you right."
So let's make this an if...then statement:
IF "every single word of what you said is factually correct"
THEN it makes me right
ELSE it makes me wrong
Every single word I said was factually correct, ergo --- it makes me right.
It doesn't imply that what is being done is right. Simply that WHAT I SAID IS RIGHT -- correct, true, based in reality.
It's not a value judgement on what is being done. It is simply determining TRUE/FALSE
Know the difference.
I never said "it's the law though" --- I said IT IS LEGAL.
Know the difference.
This isn't a question of morality. This is a question of legality. Just because they want to change it to a question of morality does not make it so. It is a question of legality and it remains that way until the laws change.
Know the difference.
It's not even a question of morality - because morality would state that content about rape and incest is immoral. You could try to make a case about a question of ethics, but again, this isn't a question of ethics. It's a question of legality.
Know the difference.
I never said I approved of their decisions. I said they were legal to do so.
Know the difference.
There are many immoral and unethical laws - have been and will be - that's reality. But they are laws that must be followed or changed (which takes more than just ranting on an adult game pirate site). There are many immoral and unethical actions that are legal - have been and will be - that's reality. But making the same false claims and inadequate arguments isn't going to change shit. Getting out there and actually doing something will change things. But it will take A LONNNNNNGG TIME and a lot of dedication and pain and blood and sweat and tears. More than signing online petitions and bitching on reddit and X and facebook and youtube. Even in this day and age of online activism. It's going to require organizing, marketing, movements, protests, VOTING.
