I see it as a positive and a negative
Positive is that there will be less cash grabs for games because it will get risky. So more games with people that actually enjoy making them.
Negative is that we will get fewer games
I think right now some will be removed, after that everything went back to normal like steam, but the number is importance

You could probably just hope Steam starts their own payment processor, but i dont think it's happening.
There is a bill in the U.S congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. It's called the Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R.987 in the House, S.401 in the Senate. isa/MasterCard and makes what they did to Steam and Itch illegal.
