Nothing much aside more UK self shooting
If there is any uk citizens that dont mind talking about this, i honestly want to know, do british realy support ALL this? Like, are they ok what every time they want to watch porn, play videogame, leave a public comment they have to submit their id, and abandon any possibility of personal annonimity?

I'm sure there is one that actually supports this, somewhere. We'll find him somedays.

Not from the UK but looking at them as an outsider they are a very submissive people. It's like built into them. They have given up so much of their freedom already under the guise of "safety". This to me is just a continuation of that. The bright spot is now they're at a breaking point and unsure where to go next. I encourage all of them to fight back.

The entire world is like this, people everywhere voluntarily gave up privacy for convenience.

A petition to reverse this hit 350k signatures and was promptly ignored by the government. They're legally obligated to look into petitions that reach 100k.

Okay so, I want you to take a moment and repost this where ever you can:

Call these people and make it clear that you will make it part of your political identity to break their monopoly up. That they have broken 15 U.S. Code § 2, as evidenced by all three payment processors acting in unison and 15 U.S. Code § 14, by forcing only specific vendors to accede their demands.

Visa Inc.

Phone: 1-800-847-2911
+1-303-967-1096 (international)

Paypal Holdings, Inc.
AskPayPal on X
Phone:1-888-221-1161
EEOMALegalSpecialist@paypal.com
executiveescalations@paypal.com

Mastercard Inc.

Corporate Office: 914-249-2000
Operations Center in Missouri: 636-722-6100
investor.relations@mastercard.com

Additionally, target the decision-makers of these companies. Companies aren't humans and don't make these decisions. Only targeting the company will not help anyone

This is not doxxing, the people are in public records

They are legally required to keep that data public

The Win condition is not to reverse this. That will just be a return to neutral so they can try again at a later date.
It's to make them scared of even trying again.

Youtube has gone downhill ever since Google bought it. As to the one card, I've called it "Bastard Card" for a long time.

similar to rom or torrent or piracy sites, like a hydra if you kill one or 2, more will show up to take its place.
porn and porn games are much more popular then most niche things on the internet.

it usually correct itself in a different yet somehow the exact same shape and form. you just have to wait or do something else wail you wait.
I agree, especially when it comes to nsfw content.

Ive been working on my game for the last 2.5 years and wanted to release it early next year. This felt like a gut punch at first, but reading through this thread gives me so much hope. Thanks y'all <3

There problem is there are no other significant payment processors outside of Discover/Amex (primarily US only), JCB (Japan) and UnionPay (China). I think India and Russia might have one too? Other processors like Paypal and Stripe are beholden to Visa/MC.

Visa/Mastercard are just so ubiquitous and intertwined with the banking industry that you'd basically have to get a new payment processor from the ground up and that just isn't going to happen.
CCBill, ACH, Trustly, Epoch, and maybeeee Wero (from Europe*) exist. Basically, think about how you buy tokens on camsites (if you do). There are alternate processors out there, and it does seem like the big three are too big to bow to this, complaints for a week or two can sadly be ignored, but it is possible that someone else will step in. Though that does nothing for like, the new 'restricted'' content on the big sites, steam and itch bowed way too fucking quickly honestly - so new sites will have to emerge, and it'll be touted as a 'win' for these prudes, and they'll keep going - hopefully the best case scenario occurs and everything is reversed but...always prepare to be disappointed.

Well something positive :

Specifically this part:

"What is the timeline for these changes?

The situation is evolving as we await final determinations from our current payment processors, Stripe and PayPal. There are still unknowns that prevent us from providing a fixed timeline.

In the meantime, we are actively reaching out to other payment processors that are more willing to work with this kind of content. We have suspended the ability to pay with Stripe for 18+ content for the foreseeable future. Our immediate focus has been on content classification reviews and implementing stricter age-gating on the site."

Maybe they can change their adult content policy then too. It reads like totally vanilla missonary or bust, just like Patreon. They didn't enforce it(or very little) before the shouting Cunts had a fit though. Maybe that can change with better payment processors.
Itch at least has the option to not offer certain payment processors for certain products, unlike steam.

Well, it looks like some porn games were relisted. However it seems to be mostly or completely ones that aren't paid. Presumably those are less of a problem since they don't involve payment.

They've been coming after Japanese sites for some time, so I guess it was only a matter of time.

Ok so Itch.io is back although with no payments for now:
Nothingburger, with their current ruleset they did not ban too much, they banned not enough. Shit, even stuff like lunar legend tsukihime and FATE/STAY would not pass current ruleset.

They already accepted brain controling chips, and now anything they say is just to safe face/please paypal overlords.

Hey guys, if you are reading this message it looks like most of the adults are reindex in the search kind of, as some like the sunleaf resort have not yet been displayed on the itch search.
