You know what? I didn't know that. I didn't know that Kim initially fucked his mom... Now I understand why people were so mad. I think the Mods must have been deleting NTR posts at a rapid pace because I was never privy to that info. I played the game after the change and wondered why everyone thought it was so bad. "a little kiss" is not a big deal I said...Yeah the problem is that dev did not show us the Kim he thought he did or that we did not get her as he intended her. (Most likely fact dev does know what Kim thinks and what will happen later works against him in this case). Well that can be partly up to the players being over sensitive to the first scene before change and for those who saw it that scene will always be in their memory, but many were already complaining before that scene that was changed and that scene was only the icing on the cake.
Thing is though, it is up to dev to show the char as he intended and if many people do not get that, dev in the end did something wrong and it is up to him to give players enough in game to change her around. Waiting three or four updates for that information to be disclosed will make it hard for players to change her in their minds after having had that image of her in their heads as a selfish bad friend for over a year. It would have been better to show a bit more of fact Kim does care at least as friend in episode 2 and why she made a mistake at least in her own eyes even if she is defensive about that to MC and cannot really own up to that to him yet, instead of postponing that for so long.
Especially since her actions with regards to MC that speak loudly are not that great and even if she gets him out of it she tends to land him in trouble and only thinks about how her actions might impact Mc when it is to late and damage has to be undone.
And then the Dev basically said "I wrote it, I should know what I intended" which is tone deaf because he specifically wrote in Kim's betrayal... Like what?! If I told a buddy of mine "yo, don't fuck my mom" and I caught him fucking my mom, I wouldn't be like "You made a mistake." Poor Kim had to be dragged down like that...
I've never heard of Dev raping a character, but this is pretty close. He forced her to betray her best friend... It's pretty clear that Kim isn't a piece of shit human being that would have sex with his friends mom. Wow, the more you know. The Dev shouldn't be given any credit for changing it to a kiss. I was gonna suggest initially to have a path where we treat Kim like garbage, but it wasn't her fault. BUT, We should get a scene of MC fucking her mom in front of her. Just saying.

I love this game personally and it's super ambitious in a way that I have no idea what direction it's gonna take.
I don't think your a bad man. I personally love Kim, but you killed her for some people and that's no bueno my guy!
Oh well, more Kim for me. But I'm serious about MC fucking her infront of Kim. Get it done <3
Edit: To make it more clear, I think you're doing a great job as a Dev for this game and think it's better than F.I.L.F and I also really liked that game.

The biggest mistake he ever did was to remove that scene because of angry mob. I think it was a good scene.

Number one rule to know is that you can’t satisfy everyone. There isn’t a single character ever created that is loved by everyone.
the one thing I learned is to not try and find middle ground anymore as people who demanded change do still bring up reconned info and will use it against me and that’s fine. More talk = more success in this world.
so I now do as I like and will not cater to either group and I find that to make me happier
Good for you! I would rather you be in a healthy space. Sure, we like our porn games and all that jazz, but most of us respect that Devs are human beings. Others just need reminding every once in a while. No work, creative or otherwise should cost the person doing it their health/life.

Regarding the scene between Kim and Julia. I liked the first one. I don't mind ntr, what's more, I'd like to see Kim fuck all the female characters in the game. But the change seems correct to me because the second scene has a better context.
Example, Julia is crying alone in the forest and suddenly two strangers appear whom she had never seen and after a while she ends up fucking one of them. That is very slutty and does not go with the personality of the character. For free spirit there is Penny. Whose scene of oral sex, in the car, is more correct to the development of the character. (not my thing, but I have friends who fuck strangers)
That is why the kiss is better because it will open the way to future sex scenes.
When I play a game I look for it to have a balance between plot and sex. I'm not interested in one sex scene after another sex scene. For that, I watch traditional porn. I want gameplay, I want the story to catch me. I like more games with CiFi dyes, slow development and knowing the characters and corrupting them. That is why I prefer this game to F.I.L.F.
But that is my opinion, my personal taste and I respect those who do not share it.
Of course I expect a lot of sex, taboo and lesbians in due course. But knowing the developer I know there will be.

I guess that's the risk of creating a story over months or years and let people participate: They have plenty of time to complain.
So far I like the game. I might not be happy with every decision being made in the future (for example if it's mostly focused on mom ... again, like in so many other games) and I surely have my HOPES in what direction it might go and from time to time I might express the latter, but this is your baby, do what you think is the best thing to do.

I like the game, however...
The constant long black screens between scenes/places are really pissing me off. I have skip transitions turned off, so these black screens need to go! When I click the button it needs to move on, not have forced long screens. Please remove them from the game. Thanx.

Hey, massive respect for saying that. While I don't agree with the original scene itself, just because we disagree doesn't mean we have to hate each other. Though what you said about it the kiss fitting better you are 100% on that point. It depends on what ICCreations wanted to create (no pun intended). Did he want to create a fuck fest with no character? The original scene would have reinforced that. As it stands, the Dev made me believe that Kim is awesome, loyal and ethical.
