When I play games like these, I pick the options that lead to trouble. I am looking for the content, not to avoid it. It's cute to be able to avoid it, but I always find myself hitting back <- and going for it anyway. So when making one, I made the assumption others would be like me.

Even then, there are chances to avoid some things. Most of the therapist's tasks can be ignored and failed, and you get a penalty.

I love that happening. I like seeing people get duped, give into their whims, be unable to muster any willpower. Why can't you run to the men's lockerroom? Because you are horny, pent up, and have a chance at something you've never seen or been close to before. One of my favorite scenes in another game features player choice being removed due to your lust.
Player choice is nice, I agree, but I approached this project from the same mindset I consume these projects: gimmie the action. All killer no filler.

Most of the time, player choice allows the player to choose what content they wish to see or not. A player not being able to choose a safe option due to lust? They had the option to lower their lust beforehand, but didn't choose to do so. Allowing the player to choose what content they see is vital to most porn games. Some players don't like feet stuff. Some don't like armpit stuff. Some don't like panty stuff. But if that's the only option going forward, some players will be turned away, because they didn't have the option to say no.
You may be a lust-filled pervert, and you may imagine the main character as a lust-filled pervert, but the player has to inhabit the MC and control them, and they might not be as lust-filled as the MC.
Along that same line of thought, someone else said:

while, as a dev, you can get your rocks off effectively being a sadist towards a pathetic sad sack, the player doesn't have this option. They are forced to inhabit the shoes of that sad sack, and to be placed on receiving end of such hostility and contempt (something which bleeds through the writing) can be too much for many and limit your audience.

This follows a similar idea, just with sadistic people rather than player choice. The comment the nurse makes about the player, where it's just rude comment after rude comment, is very sadistic and turns me away from the game. I don't personally want every single person to just
hate me with such vitriol, because at that point it feels like it's directed at me, the player, rather than the character. It's not funny, fun, or enjoyable. It goes past the point of a humiliation/masochism fetish, into pure hatred. It turns me away from playing this game, or really any other game you make in the future.
But that's just my thoughts on the matter. Hope this helps somehow lol
