Imma be real, I've played through almost 3 of the routes at this point with the mtl, and it's perfectly fine if you just want to play through and dont mind the occasional mix-ups and oddities. Don't know why some people are making it out to seem like you can't enjoy it with mtl, like I laughed I teared up It's good. If you know japanese great you might have a better time but if you dont and want to play this now fucking go for it.

Only played a bit and this TL already looks better than the SVN (they renamed to GVN lol) for last game IIRC. I know a bit of Japanese so it's surprisingly good. Will take me a while to go through this though but this already feels much better.

Now I just need to try out the new MTL for Amakano 2 to see how much better it is.

Am I the only one who has a problem with the in-game sprites not appearing? I tested the official Japanese trial version of the game to see if it's just a problem with my device being old, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The sprites appears for me on the official one. Is there any solution or advice? Why does this game always force close on my laptop when I play it? It's a bit annoying to have to reopen the game when it force closes.

Any chance this is some sort of AI-assisted product? The lighting being reminiscent of it I could actually write off somehow, but the toes on the third screenshot plus several similar finger bloopers make it extremely difficult to just "naah" away.

Not having problem with the actual sprites but the smaller lower left ones seems to be buggy. I'm thinking they should be there all the time but it only appears for me sometimes randomly, I'm assuming that's broken.

Finally got to the route branching options and it's also broken like the opening part asking for your name.

Maybe its a scaling issue, usually that's the case so try messing around with the settings or don't play the game in fullscreen mode. I personally think the translation messes something up with the game.

Unsolicited advice: If you don't care about the quality of the translation and having a high enough mental capacity to get over the whole he/she issue. Then, get yourself the japanese copy of this game and use luna translator. It's very good and take 30 minutes max to learn how to use it. It has a very good On-screen translation tool in case text-hooking craps itself. You can even stick it to the window of the game so when you pull up some shii from a browser or some other shii and it doesn't get into your on-screen zone and mess the translation up. Give its document a go. in case you wanna learn japanese with it you can also help you do that as well. its amazing.

i have the jp version cause im using luna to read it and a ai model but anyways cant send it because i dont have the tools to do so but ill tell you it doesnt have a open script folder so anyone you ask to do it has to have the tools to extract it which rn in the vn scene is getting abit harder without personal tools i wonder what svn uses man if i knew i would just translate vns using local ai lol

There's a lot of easy to access tools. Stuff like: Garbro, VNTranslationTools, Translator++, stuff like GalTransl which has some useful tools, Kaguya Tools, CatSceneExtractor, ToolForYuris, EntisGLS_Tools, etc. If you push it enough, you can even make Claude write some tools for you.

garbro doesnt work for alot of the games i tried t++ requires everything to be unpacked as for the others i have not tried

which would you recommend? (something that can connect to local api)

prolly to big for local but i got a decent speed so i could maybe do something with it worst case i just use gemini or something probably be a mix of the two tho with gemini i might not be able to give context because it will eat tokens up like nothing
