I'm sure this won't be another absurdly overambitious unreal engine asset flip of the default premade shooter template containing a few stiff sex animations of store bought monster models with penises stapled on.

I'm sure people won't get inexplicably hyped for only for it to progress nowhere for years because making a full 3d game is actually really hard and all the "impressive" qualities the game showed off were actually premade assets cobbled together by a dev who couldn't replicate them and won't be able to build on them meaningfully.

Nooo way that's the case.

I'm hoping Project Extermination actually pans out, but yeah, the likelihood of games like this is that they either die before they're completed, or manage to make it to 1.0 but what comes out just isn't good.
