The dev already has an abandoned game in his track record, don't be surprised when he abandons this one too.
That game was shelved because his patrons voted saying they wanted him to focus on a different setting/game. Though he has said its unlikely he'll go back to it unless they vote for it. Plus he already has a completed game, Alices' Conclusion
