I feel like too many people for some reason have trouble separating fantasy from reality. Enjoying NTR doesn't automatically make you a cuck in real life. If anything, it's the opposite. fantasy exists specifically to give you something you can't/don't want to experience in reality.

If liking NTR games automatically made you a cuck, by the same token what does it make you if you enjoy rapey corruption games?

Just like Horror movies and games enjoyers don't go around day-dreaming about being pursued by a serial killer and dismembered to pieces, right? Somehow nobody questions this, but when it comes to sexual content everybody is freaking out - "Oh no! Me liking this thing must be bad!"

It's just gives people exciting thrills that they can engage with in a safe way. NTR is popular because it excells at it, as the most dramatic subgenre. And that's what have attracted people to stories since basically forever. Drama, tragedy, conflict — that's what makes an engaging story. Not "they all lived happily ever after and nothing happened".

In short, stop overthinking it. It's just porn. Have a rub and go on with your life. No need to make it a part of your identity or reflect on what it all means for you as a person.

If you can't do that, though, then yeah. Perhaps you should prioritize your mental well-being over excitement. Everything is good in moderation.

I agree and I didn't mean to say I personally feel like a cuck and have no issue saying I do enjoy NTR, but I will say I do feel part of me does have a hard time separating the fantasy and reality but part of me doesn't which is why I still enjoy them it's just emotionally in the moment I feel bad for example was playing a game called like sphilia's familiar, I like the ugly bastard NTR route but being defeated in combat means the enemy gang rape the female and you can decide if the male protag can join in or stop it, I clicked join in. Was reading the dialogue and just felt really bad and stop the scene. Given the scene is hot but idk just curious how others thought about it

To the NTR lovers out there how do you feel/enjoy when playing/watching/reading it? i've read/played a quite a few of them and while i still enjoy them(typically cause they have good art and evoke strong emotions) I always have like this dread feeling, feel bad for the person getting cuck (sometimes the woman who is betraying) and just feel like I shouldn't play them. While I do feel like the cuck should take a big part of the blame sometimes, I can't help but putting myself in the person that gets cucked shoes.

I typically really enjoy watching the (preferably) gradual and (ideally) completely self-destructive fall of the female protagonist(s) in NTR games. I don't really feel bad about these situation and don't have any sense of dread while playing them. In fact, I often feel that all the characters deserve their fates in their stories and really enjoy watching the Karma happen. It also really helps that I don't self-insert as any of the characters and always take a "god's eye" perspective.

Yea I do think they deserve some of the fates they encounter I just be feeling bad for them. I don't necessarily self-insert I see it as more of sympathizing with them. The closest I do to a self-insert would be like when a scenario happens kind of just go into my on head about how I'd do things or different way it could play out.
P.S. thought about it guess it is pretty much self-insert to put yourself in someone else shoes. Didn't really think I did since I don't have myself in their shoes every time something happens just some scenarios
