Amelie sucks as a character; she's a boring, barebones NTR slut. I hate her and couldn't identify with how the protagonist is so infatuated by her, and I also felt detached due to his actions at times. I will say to be fair, she was sabotaged by the story itself since her character development was all just becoming more and more slutty, the dev never thought to give any other character development to her. The other girls were pretty good. Elena was definitely the best by far, everything good, nothing bad.

I had a little "wtf is going on" moment when I ran the game, played it for several hours, quit, found out the game was infected and then went searching for telltales of the virus.. found nothing. Still ran ccleaner, malwarebytes, eset online scanner, f-secure, and as a final measure tronscript while praying it wont brick my computer. Then reset all passwords.. safe to say playing this game wasnt worth all that hassle. Found absolutely no signs that lumma went off on my computer but still went through whole song and dance of precautions. At least my passwords got reset.

I didnt bother to finish the game. Played.. pretty far I think. Then I just had my fill, Deleted the game, came to forums and found the shitstorm.

So basically the same feeling as me. Elena's end is pretty cute, btw, very wholesome. As for the spoiler you mentioned, it wasn't used much anyway, at least in terms of lines said.

How is the described op, the virus was activated on the 20th and only in the version that was published on the 19th and it was active until people started reporting viruses. Afterwards, the game was deleted and one was uploaded that should be clean, so if you downloaded it after the date it was active in the previous link, you shouldn't have any problems.

What ive heard from here its designed to download malicious material, if user has activated the infected exe file, on certain day. In this case it was apparently 20th of august. Note that as long as your computer is infected, changing passwords dont necessarily help at all since virus might just keep just sending them to whoever is behind this. You need to clean the virus off, then change your passwords and restore whatever changes it has tried to make, like exceptions in windows defender or other antiviruses, so it can operate free.. out of interest check windows defenders list of folders set as exceptions if the virus set its own folder as exception from scans.

I cant really tell what advices in regards to cleaning effective since my case was different. I didnt have a folder and files wasnt there despite definitely running the file. Even still there is one at least one user who received notification that their instagram account was being fiddled (whether or not it was unrelated activity.. who knows). I still went through my entire system with whole circus of tools, changed passwords and raked through defender and antivirus for exceptions..

Hello there!

Yup, the game had virus but realized it was too late. Lost an art account and some steam funds, perhaps someother things that I'm still unknown of. Windows Defender failed this time, but these are the risks of piracy, alas. At least, Malwarebyte told me that the game tries to do outbounds connections, plus found the freakiing culprit.

I dont exactly remember but If there was a non machine translated version shared here prior to 19th, i mightve downloaded that before contaminated version was shared.. I just happened to play it 20th when outbreak happened.

Mmm, as far as I know, a Chinese version was shared, then another one on the 18th in the request thread, and I think it's the same version that was updated here, but the uploader has to confirm that. Maybe he used another version that was shared with him privately.

I don't have all the details, what is clear is that starting on the 20th, several people's antiviruses went crazy and started reporting positives, and it was with the version that was updated in this thread. If there were other versions, then it's a different story.

I feel bad for the people who download the game expecting a cuck porn but instead they get malware. This is like a gamers version of getting NTR'd. In other news, I played the dazed translation and I had no issue with it. In fact, I don't think I had any virus issues playing Dazed's translated games.

Turns out MalwareBytes is blind as fuck. I had it scan the infected files and it didn't detect anything. If even Anti-virus programs are helpless, do I never download anything from the web ever again anymore? Guess that's the only sure way to be safe. Lol.

The way I understand it, the code itself didn't do anything that would any alarm. All it did was, upon execution, connect to a particular server that downloaded the malicious files and execute them. Then, it searched for stored credentials and the like, stealing them, and quickly deleting itself after accomplishing its objective. So if you relied only on scanning before executing you were sore out of luck. Some antivirus software that constantly monitors everything could have caught it in the act.

Don't quote me on this, since I only have a superficial understanding of the way the lumma stealer was delivered.

Well in my case I was unlucky enough to download the version with the virus, I use bitdeffender and that day (20) it detected a strange connection and blocked it, after that I search the forum and read the comments about the contaminated version. I deleted the infected version, changed the most important passwords and up to this point it seems to work, but I keep checking my accounts for something strange just in case lol.

Bitdefender and Kaspersky are goated. They've saved me on many occasions.

Having replayed it with the new translation, while it's better than the GPT MTL it's not quite on the level of a Kagura release.

Also for me, it's Hiyori, I mean I know it's Amelie's game and all but man...
I still wish she got more than a mere 2 scenes, she just hit all the right buttons for me.
