I give this star for the little content that the game has and the tediousness of its battle system but taking that out what really bothers is that this thing has 4 damn years of development and it does not go anywhere poor people who give it money for a project that has no hope but well maybe in 20 years they will do it Not to mention his change in art that absolutely no one asked for.

Easily one of the sexiest games I've ever played, naturally being a huge Danny Phantom fan and having a huge on Maddie Fenton since it first aired probably helps! XD

The way the Maddie romance begins is actually incredibly plausible (For a H game anyway!) so high kudos for that too!

the clicking and reading vs scene ratio is the worst of any game ive played. how has this been going for so long, and there are so few scenes. incredibly boring. scenes dont look good enough. scenes dont have enough change/variation. the amount of text is obnoxious - this isnt an adult game - its a novel that has a couple of scenes, not all of which even make sense, which is odd given the amount of clicking and reading. if the scenes were more complex, more earned, and actually looked good, then id understand the popularity; as is, its..... an excuse to generate monthly support. i put way more time into it than i should have, and finally unlocked the gallery somewhere after stage 7. totally regret playing this. always go for the gallery first to see if its worth it.

The game was one of the best parodies on this site but for some reason the dev decided to spit on his fanbase and change the art to anime esque.
The parody is WESTERN based, not EASTERN based so its completely asinine to change a parody to anime drawing (a mix of western and eastern)

Its ridiculous that he did that after years of development and just like that, change the art.

It was a maximum turn off and if it keeps like that you will lose almost every single fan you had.

    Cons:

Let's start with the fact that the Westernized style of this art has been completely nuked. The main draw of this game was it's art, it was as close to the original Danny Phantom show as it gets. But now the project has been replaced with mediocre Weeb anime/hentai art.

As if I needed to see another another one of those, the characters just look like anime characters cosplaying the Danny Phantom Show. No more distinct features, it's a Weeb-Com now.

    Gameplay:

It's really what you'd expect from a sandbox, a bit of a grind, but not too extreme, there are cheat codes, but it kinda defeats the purpose of the game if you have to use those. So use at your own risk. There are some of bugs and issues with triggering scenes, but once again that's that sandbox life so...

    Story:

    It's what you make it.

But moving on from yet another, well established project because of bad decision making by these Devs. TT is one and this is another one. You just don't wait 4 years to make such a drastic change and think people will just go along with it, now some will, but I'm not.

Really good game I must say.... I really enjoy it.

I just hope this game will have more updates because the game deserve more updates without question . Lets see how far this game will go definitely for me 8,5 out of 10 for now.

Editing the review score to point out that the new art is terrible. Knocked it down to average.

This game has the potential to be great but there's some minor things that bug me.

1: The RPG mechanics are basically just there for the game to feel more like a game. Unless I cheated I legit couldn't do some of the later fights. You probably need to put in grinding spots or make this easier, one or the other. Either way the cheats negate this issue completely, but at that point why have the battles?

2: The writing is all at once fantastic, riddled with typos, and terrible chapter to chapter. I'd like for my choices to matter for more than "who you had sex with this chapter". Seriously, how was I fake going out with Sam in one chapter, then in the woods, followed by the next chapter in the city, where that meant nothing? Why am I playing a game then? Might as well just cheat in the scene gallery if all the dialogue in between means jackshit.

Basically fix the battles and the continuity between chapters and this is pretty much perfect...you know...despite being unfinished.

This game has so much respect for the orginal show! It feels like actually watching the show!

My only complaint is about the sex scenes that could be better (i would rate 3/5) but it doesn't take away anything from this brilliant game.

Love how well drawn it is, really looks like Butch's lines

Alright let's get one thing straight, it's a damn good game and the story line is prettt well writtrn considering all the ghosts and secrets being unlocked per every episode. And if i have to be straight the adult scenes are also good, not great of course.. Could need some more dialogue during the adult scenes a little more time to fap is all I'm asking. Those scenes are done pretty soon considering they only come across once or twice per episode. A lot fodder to run through to get one measly x rated scene. Please remember this a porn game and it kinda defeats the purpose without much porn in it. It's not an educational game to educate us on the topics of parapsychology and ghosts. And what's with the minigames, the EXP given is totally random every time and a few are literally so tough it's barely possible to win
Try to ease up on the minigames too. Way too much of time spent on reading dialogues and playing the minigame, there's not enough time to fap at all. Overall here's how i would rate the aspects of the game...
    Dialogues 3/5
    Artwork 4/5
    Animation 3/5
Plot 5/5 (Only cuz it's getting interesting as we go forward, can't wait to see what kindof new powers our MC gets.)
    Grind 2/5
Fap 1/5 (This is very poor cuz the scenes are way too small and it's over before you know it.)
Characters 4/5 (Considering it's a parody and also they are pretty well built for the purpose.)
    Minigames 3/5

Overall I'd say 3/5 is a reasonable rating for this game. For the development it's had till date. Hope in the future it gets more interesting and bit less to the boring side(all the fodder dialogues and small sex scenes reasoned).

Please fix the impossible combat. I got stuck on the dragon without saving, its impossible to beat and because I died so many times all my autosaves on the dragon ending the game for me. Add an option to flee combat instead of just saying "you can't flee" which is a real kick in the face.

    VERSION: 0.7.3

Amity Park aspires to satirize the early 2000's Nickelodeon show Danny Phantom, achieving this goal courtesy of fantastic art that closely mimics its source material with a playful rendition of its cast. Among the most notable aspects of Amity Park is its faithful recreation of the aesthetic, that "Western anime" style used so liberally throughout the era in shows such as Invader Zim, Teen Titans and The Fairly Odd Parents; here, the artist has adapted it with only minor alterations to enhance the erotica.

Split across several episodes, the first of which deal primarily with establishing the setting and character interactions, the genuinely adult-oriented content is few and far between. Some mature humour exists in dialogue, allusions to masturbation and such, but Amity Park establishes itself first and foremost as a game rather than a mere outlet for smut.

Indeed, unlike the majority of its competitors, even in this niche, Amity Park retains some genuine "gamey" mechanics, including a turn-based combat system. Although a tad rudimentary when compared against mainstream RPGs, combat serves as an enjoyable distraction from the visual novel aspects of progression and allows the player to customize Danny with a simple attribute-allocation system. Sadly, the player appears to be limited to pre-scripted encounters alone and, thus, cannot engage in any voluntary grind, although each encounter is fairly pivotal to the narrative progression.

Roughly an hour into play Amity Park begins unveiling its more erotic content, as the protagonist peeps on their sister, engages the school nurse in some amorous play and experiments with their childhood friend, Sam. These sequences overwhelming include animated content, nicely looped to allow for unlimited playback. Here, the restricted palette does somewhat impair the art, as fine details are lost to the cell-shading. Furthermore, early-game animations are prone to odd anatomical choices, given that the artist lacked reference material for these characters in such poses; Nurse Kate, for instance, has shockingly well-developed shoulders in her first nude scene, despite the otherwise slim profile on display.

Dialogue is also prone to a few oddities: the author was inordinately fond of employing typographical emphasis, with several sentences featuring bold, italic and underlined words simultaneously. Fortunately, this zeal was amended in latter episodes and its frequency is dramatically reduced, however, the early appearances can contribute a somewhat amateur feel to the entire affair. It is worth noting, nonetheless, that the dialogue as a whole is wonderfully scripted. The cast converse naturally and with personalities that accurately reflect their televised personas, while genuine errors are few and far between. Indeed, having poured through the script only one line immediately springs to mind: Danny remarks he'll have a "peek" in the bathroom and, within the same sentence, notes that it wouldn't be "bad if I just peaked."

Having concluded the majority of the content currently available, Amity Park seems more like an adults-only homage to the franchise rather than a genuine satire. If you can excuse a few fourth-wall breaking moments, including outright remarks by the developer regarding the reduced complexity of quests in the final episodes (which, at best, are jarringly unnecessary), I firmly believe you'll find something to enjoy whether you're a diehard fan or, like myself, relatively new to the world of Danny Phantom.

    GRAPHICS ------------------------------------------------ 7 / 10
+ Stylized, in keeping with the cartoon, albeit with some clear artistic license to enhance the erotica.
+ Animations are fairly smooth and relatively diverse in nature.
    - Some anatomical issues, such as overly muscled shoulders and unnaturally shifting proportions between clothed/naked bodies.
+/- Art style is somewhat divisive, with clear fans and detractors alike; personally, I don't find it offputting, but neither would I opt for this in lieu of more detailed alternatives.

    DIALOGUE ------------------------------------------------ 7 / 10
+ Strong characterization and adherence to the personalities established in its source material.
+ Few, and minor, typographical errors of any sort; good editorial oversight process.
    - Overreliance on typographical emphasis, such as italics and underlining, throughout the initial episodes.

    GAMEPLAY ------------------------------------------------ 6 / 10
+ Turn-based battle system offers a genuine "gamey" reprieve from the visual novel elements.
+ Attribute levelling and experience system provide a degree of freedom in determining future combat encounters.
    - No ability to level or otherwise "XP grind" outside of pre-ordained encounters.
    - Several fights are intended to be lost and will dramatically decrease your health even if you avoid being struck.

    INNOVATION ---------------------------------------------- 8 / 10
+ Addition of RPG-lite mechanics is a novel touch that simultaneously provides an in-universe explanation for some of the adult content and contributes variation to the gameplay.

    SCORE ======================================= 28 / 40

RECOMMENDED FOR FANS, ENJOYABLE FOR NEWCOMERS
Amity Park is clearly aimed at established fans of the franchise, to whom the nostalgic element undoubtedly contributes a little more taboo titillation, yet even new players will discover an enjoyable, somewhat silly experience with decent erotic content.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITIQUE: Alter the shoulders on Nurse Kate during the animated sequences, they are far too heavily muscled and squared-off for a woman of her stature, appearing unnatural given the slim profile of her normal conversant image. Expand the UI in the scene selector, on Danny's computer, such that the player is no longer required to click multiple times to browse; a single row of three icons could easily have been changed to a three-by-three grid or greater. Consider allowing players to engage in (limited, perhaps) battles outside of those dictated by the storyline; say, by roaming the city after dark.

I've never consumed any Danny Phantom content before, so don't be put off by that if it applies to you too. This game is great. I guess all the character development is already done for the dev (and done by pros, so you can trust the characters are good!). Dev does a good job with the writing, flow, scenes, and animation. It doesn't take toooo long to get to any decent content (I would just cheat in money if I were you, cheats are on the main post, working is pretty much the only real grind). Also there is scene replay at the PC which is great.

Just MAKE SURE YOU LEVEL UP WHEN YOU CAN. I got in a fight that I couldn't win because I skipped two level ups and the game would not let me back out because "Amity Park needs you!!!"... kinda BS, but, yeah just don't forget to level up.

At V0.7.3 you could get a couple wanks out of it!

    Good Points
+Playing as a Danny Phantom is pretty enjoyable. And storytelling wasnt bad either.
+Art looks good except some scenes and things...
    +We have fine looking women.

    Bad Points
    - Some details looks bad. Espacily Danny's hands looks pretty weird... They are like some kind of goblin hands or gollum's hands. Everyone looks normal except Danny. I cant get it whats your purpose of making his hands like that? You should fix that.
-Renders are 2D.. What is that mean if you ask? When Danny telled any girl ''Can you turn around'' we cant saw her ass we just sawing her flipping other side. Its pretty weird...
-Animations needs lots of work. Some of them are good and looking normal like first Maddy Scene with Jack. But lots of them nothing look alike ingame arts or Danny Phantom characters and dont even look good at all. In lots of animations DEV changes their looking to much and its not good. Good looking and character matching animations needed! Art looks fine and this scenes wonth match with that quality.
-Sex scenes are to basic. No speed choice, only one angle and basic positions etc. DEV need made sex scenes more detailed.
-Fights are little bit basic/boring after some time and we dont have to much of them either.

    For The End
Well its not bad game but it should be far better than this. If this was new game is hould gave 4 star but at this rate this is barely can get 3 star. I know lots of people gave this game 5 rate star but i need to be objective here. I hope DEV can manage fix all this things.

Really like the game itself, its art style, soundtrack and story. Only thing is that outside of the story itself there is nothing to do and really interact with. For example: its monday and your quest takes place next friday. Only thing you can do is sleep till friday, which the dev has a special button for which is excelent, or go to school, work, sleep. In between there is usually no real dialogue since you previously exhausted it and viewing previous H-scenes does not pass ingame time.

Nontheless, it is a great game and will probably give it 5 stars in a later update. The .7 patch with the EMBER arc is a wholesome storyline.

The game, concept art, storyline, puns back and forward are just god tier!

huge props for the developer in actually putting a hell of an effort to this classic animated series!

def a game worth to play hands down

    Edited due the following reasons:

1- They changed the art to make it anime-ish which totally kills off the mood of immerse yourself if you ever got to watch the TV show. so your expectations are going to be low if you ever get to see the art look a like to the animation.

2- This redux thing they did was the worst thing to ever get and it was defo something nobody asked for to see in the game so once again is not the current artist fault, but actually bad management on taking decisions when comes to this particular scenario. and NO nobody asked to see the characters to look different they were perfectly fine with the previous artist.

3- There's no positive insight of them getting stuff worked out for people who actually wants to play the game with look a like art from the series, due that would be for them double, triple or even quad of time spending and its obvious nobody would spend that amount of effort on the development of a game unless they were given way more money for it so...

TL;DR if they ever *they wont* work with both art assets then the game progress would be non-existent when delivering updates and in top of that if individually they not working in other projects then it would be the slowest slug of development progress to be put on amity park with both legacy and redux workouts.

4- Honestly both artists art its outstanding, but in this occasion changing the original art by doing a 360 flip wasn't the most ideal so everyone its a critic and entitled to their own opinion.
Mine stands as this game not being anymore focused on the danny phantom series, since you can identify the characters but you wont actually feel while progressing in the game to enjoy of any of it just because that spark of reminisce its sadly Gone.

Really great game, with quality animations. Hopefully, we will get more updates, but all in all a great game that deserves more recognition. And will definitely become a patreon later in the year, cause the creator really earned it.

TLDR: 8/10. If you know and like the serie, you will love this game, and if you don't know who Danny Phanton was, you will have a good time too anyway.

    In depth review for v0.7.2:

Story: The story follows the adventures of Danniel as we already knows so talking about how good the story is (because the story IS good) would be kinda unfair compared to other games here. The deviations the devs did are good enough to provide the adult fun without losing the charm from the cartoon show made for kids. Story: unrated.

Writing: The writing feels kinda goofy most of times, maybe that's what happend when you adapt a kid's show to an adult game and I don't know since it's my first time playing a game like this, but it isn't such a big deal because it really doesn't need a better writing either. It is good enough to take you from point A to B and gives you enough reason to want to go to C and so on. The situations created to have some H action are well implemented. Writing: 3/5.

    Characters:
You can really notice the personality of each character and love them or hate it as planned. Star is the most annoying bitch in the word and I hate her but I would love to make her my bitch any day of the week. Sam is your good old best friend and I love her but her idea/attempts of sex events are a handjob at best due to how shy and insecure she is about advanccing with Danny. Desiree is a good person at the end of the day but her past makes her be bad and take revenge against men. With those character you can find the good thing from the original show and the good things of an adult game. Characters: 5/5

The game itself: It's a good sandbox game with a smal map so you won't lose too much time wandering from one place to the other. It has an in-game WT, which is GREAT and every sandbox game should do it, that shows how the game works in chapters so it makes an interesting modality putting it apart from the classic sanbox and VN games.

    Drawings/Art:
I will separte them in 3 parts: Sprites, CGs and Sex Scenes. By sex scenes I mean sex, handjobs, blowjobs, and pretty much everything animated in the game. By CGs I mean things like Maddie in the shower, the selfies from Paulina, Sam and Star and others.

Sprites: Not only you can tell who each character is but you can also tell how much you want to fuck them. A perfect adaptation of a character made for a kid's show into an adult game. Sprites: 5/5 which could be 6/5.

CGs: These is kinda weird. 90% of them are great and the other 10% is good but it feels like most of them aren't made by the same group of people. Sometimes I just feel like the went to rule34 to get some pictures for the game. They are good but they aren't consistent, and that makes me uneasy while rating it. CGs: 3,5/5

Sex scene: Whenever you will see an animation you'll instantly notice how different they are compared to the CGs and the sprites. All of them are good anyway but you can totally notice the lack of details and quality compared to CGs and sprites. It doesn't happen in all the animations, some of them are as top quality as the sprites. In any case, the lack of quality is covered by the movements (it would be better to say that the movement is to compensate for the lack of quality). In any case these are a blast most of the times. The worst animation gets a 3,5/5 and the better ones get a 5/5 and you have more 5/5 than 3,5/5. Sex scenes: 4,5/5

Combat: This is weird, a lot of people will say that it's impossible to win (they are wrong, you can win all the fights except 1 in ch7) and there are some situation when the game will act as if you lost even when you win. It is possible to win but winning is stupidly complicated for almost no reason. Whenever a fight comes, you will have to put your dick in your pants again because it could take you a good 15 minutes each fight. The trick is waiting for the opponent to go invisible so you can do the same and get a free hit. Even if you save and load constantly it will take you a good time and it isn't really a fun time either. The combat system isn't bad in itself but there is no point on it taking so much time. Combat: 2/5

    Codding/Bugs:
    I didn't have any bugs, a solid 5/5.

    Rating for [v0.6.1]
Ohhhh boy where do I even start?
Pros: I’ll start off by saying that the writing in this game saves it from eternal damnation. I know that many fans of Amity Park despise the writing and condemn it as the worst aspect of the game, but I personally enjoyed it immensely. The non-animated art in this game (characters) is phenomenal; Maddie Fenton is soooooooooooooo hot it’s not even funny. The interactions between her and the protagonist (dialogue-wise) are enjoyable. I’d argue that 95% of the stand-still art is great, with only some slight flaws. The story is great; somebody will always mention that the plot is “unoriginal”, but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable for me... because what story is truly original? Originality is only a problem for me when the game is overly-generic, and this game is far from that. The writer does a great job giving me the emotions I’m supposed to feel for each character individually; I’m madly in love with Maddie Fenton... MADLY IN LOVE, I think Jack Fenton is a cringey tool, I absolutely hope Vlad Masters gets his head cut off by a guillotine, etc. I wasn’t originally a fan of Sam Manson, but somehow her art and story arc just made me fall for her; I guess I get turned on by goth chicks now :ROFLMAO:... All jokes aside though, they did an AMAZING job with Sam. The animations in this game are (for the most part) pretty smooth; only a little choppy at times. And now for my favorite part... the cons!
Cons: What in the absolute hell is up with the fighting? Why is it so goddamn hard in the later episodes? I could go on for more than an hour about all of the problems with the fighting mechanics in this game, but for now I’ll keep it somewhat simple. I shouldn’t have to fight an enemy 10+ times to beat it, and ALL of the fights should be relatively easy. The fighting is just so inconsistent; sometimes Danny has the “double attack damage” ability button available, and sometimes it just turns gray and unclickable. Absolutely no skill is involved in the fighting, which is a good thing up until the point where winning isn’t possible; The four-armed bear fight in episode 6 is quite literally impossible and unavoidable. I’ve been sitting here using up my “magic point shit” and then for the rest of the time simply spamming the punch button. Blocking does nothing against this character. SOLUTION: Make fights easier and/or skippable, except for ones you’re meant to lose of course. I didn’t download Amity Park for challenging fights that take more than 10 times to beat... I downloaded it for the story and Maddie fricken Fenton. That brings up another point, wtf is up with the amount of content Maddie has? Absolutely nothing in episodes 1-5, and then a flood of scenes in episode 6? The only reason this is a problem for me, is because it takes sooooo long to get through those first 5 episodes if you read everything, which I must do because of my OCD. SOLUTION: For the love of God have a new scene with Maddie for every update from here on out. Now here comes the part that officially removes the 5th star for me... and is also the most disappointing con; Maddie’s H-scene art in episode 6. More specifically the hj/bj scene. I swear to God are there 2 different artists or something??? One for the animated scenes and 1 for the stand-still character silhouettes? Like hoooooly shit they’re polar opposites man. I look at the stand-still character for Maddie and am blown off of my feet, and then come this h-scene, I’m convinced I’m looking at an entirely different character in an entirely different game. SOLUTION: If there are 2 different artists, you definitely wanna cut it down to just the 1. But if there aren’t, then what the hell is going on? Why don’t the animated h-scenes have anywhere as good quality art as the stand-still ones???
All in all, this game isn’t half bad. I’m glad I finally got to playing it. This game is a hard 3.5 and a soft 4, but it could very easily be flipped into a 4-4.5 rating with some very simple fixes. I’m giving it the 4 simply because of the potential hope that these issues are addressed and corrected in the next update... which for Christ’s sake, better be out soon. ;)

One of the best games on this site, it offers:
    • Beautiful art-style
    • Hot characters (Mom is definitely the best)
    • Interesting story with, not too much grind
    • good animations
The only drawback that comes to my mind is that it's not released very frequently.

    desmosome

This is just phenomenal. I never watched the show, as I am closer to the X-MEN and super/batman animated series generation, but I did see these characters from hentai websites.

First of all, the art is just amazing here. It captures the distinctive style of the cartoons perfectly while accentuating the curves and just making everything very sexy. The game has animations during scenes which is quite rare for a 2DCG game. Nothing bad to be said about the art direction.

The dev's really outdid themselves on the writing. I did some rudimentary research, and the game seems to incorporate some key plotlines from the original show and generally stay true to the characters. The relationship dynamics, character's personalities, and idiosyncrasies seems to be preserved as much as possible. The game maintains a generally light tone and humor that might be found in these kids cartoons. The humor is not cringy or overdone. It made be chuckle quite a few times. I'd imagine that this game is exactly what you would get if you added porn to the source material.

The writing during the scenes are solidly above average. The game has a light tone overall, being a kids toon parody, but the writers put in some effort in making the dialogues very spicy. I think the objective is to develop a light male dom aspect during scenes as Danny gets more comfortable banging all the sexy chicks around. I doubt we will see anything crazy in terms of fetishes, but I can definitely see fappability in this game.

Gameplay. This is one of those free roamers that is pretty linear. Not my favorite kind of gameplay, but it is done tastefully here. You won't ever really be lost or annoyed by the mechanics and the progression is very smooth. Battles are not very hard if you just pump strength and block at the right times.

All in all, a very solid entry in the toon parody genre.
