Personally I don't care. I haven't noticed SA playing games like "this month, dead or alive" lately. Ofcourse update can be delayed... shit happens... but anyway...

i looked at the last few releases . if we go by those update could come out this hour in 6 hours or in 14 hours. again i dont know what timezone dev is referring to when they meant saturday so im just going by the last 3/4 releases .

It would be stupid to make a fixed announcement if the work is not done yet. And if it was done already, they could release today. It's not like they have any contracts with some PR company or appointments with clients or anything. So "plan to" is the most you can get. In my company we also "plan to" release on certain days (and out customers pay much much much much more than Patreons), but if it doesn't work as expected, it would be pointless.
