The reworking is done. Only new chapters from here on out. I know that the animations are kind of all over the place in turns of frame rate and a lot of times are kind of odd (40 fps, 70 fps, 110 fps, etc.).

From what I see the creator of the game is very good at making hot images but very bad at telling a story and character development, I think he doesn't even know what the ending of the game is, so this game is destined to be a fan service.

Nvm I used gallery mode to get the job done and I ain't playing it again cuz I got spoiled by the scenes
This is appreciated, but There is one thing I don't get despite the patch. Before I downloaded the patch, I saw that the "landlady/mom" said "There's no doubt you're my friend's son" which is weird, considering "friend" is patreon-friendly lingo for "cousin". So at first I thought Alexandra was supposed to be like an aunt or something, which made me want to download the patch for clearance.
After the patch, that line stayed the same so I'm still wondering. Did I miss the actual meaning of that remark, or did that line go unnoticed by the patch?
After 5 years, we still don't know how to solve the main problems:
1. Why amnesia?

I think 'friend' is meant to mean father, as in "you're your father's son".

furniture is easy, just talk to carpenter (upper right corner (unless map bugs again)) and do his tasks, certificate reqs that you eavesdrop elena speaking in the phone about that certificate and after that when she's away you click closet and take certificate and also mc's laptop, phoneparts come later.

don't remember how furniture quest advances from note but spa cert is started by eavesdropping elena.

I useually don't take part of the complaining around here, but I sadly agree with you. A whole lot of plot points were set up early in this game, and the story is not even moving forward slowly, it is just side-questing.
Yeah, I think you got to get the Spa up so you bump in to that dominatrix Rei and she'll tell you where you can get furniture made, so you need to get the certificate from Elena's wardrobe, think you have to do it midday on a Friday when whatshername, the other sister, is cleaning Elena's room.

quite likely, not only chain of quests to do orig. quest.
i think i did it when she (e) was occupied in phone.
If you don't use mods the game by now actually has a good ingame hint system telling you what you can do next to progress with each character or if you reached end-of-current-content for a quest line.
Also there is the walkthrough linked in the OP telling how to do some events, eg with Eva, in detail.
As others mentioned before, you need the Spa story line to continue.
From the map screenshot you can see that you did not unlock the Spa nor Rei's place nor the carpenter yet.
