So this "remake" is just more of a visual upgrade? Because i was worried they were gonna make us all start from the beginning. have to watch MC jerk off all over again

Of course you have to restart. How else are you supposed to see the FAP scenes in better lighting otherwise?

And no, from what I read it was also about scripts and writing.

So confusing. After they replaced the OG writer, the story has been random as shit. why bother lol

I agree that this design makes even less sense because they are supposed to be dirt poor at least in the beginning. Even so the design should have been the afterthought. Whilst a visual novel has to have great visuals it's still a NOVEL and there was nothing wrong with the initial design to begin with. We're here for Super Alex's story. Whilst the renders and graphics are important the most important thing in a novel is the writing and story they want to tell.

I am really excited to see where the story will progress and how it will progress. The initial visuals were fine.

However even so I want to see where the STORY goes. It's a nice touch to have the redesigns but that should have been the afterthought. I want to know where the main character builds/breaks his relationships.
