The closer we get to the release the more I get the feeling we'll get a fucking washed version of a remake with nearly all content missing even though the progress with the release date announcement said 96% or what. Guess they're already looking for excuses when this half finished unneccessary remake gets released with actual no new content/progress.

I'm pretty sure it will be a huge disappointment, ngl.

there is a chance this could happen but i do have some hope its decent only cause the preview renders seem good , the dev has been doing transparent communication regulary and is getting rid of the 2 version system.

Believe me, nothing would make me happier than seeing an actual good version of Amnesia with focus on storytelling and relationships etc. The art is already amongst the best this site has to offer (yes I even prefer it over the Dr.). But it's really tough to have faith. Maybe I need to keep my expecations that low so that there is an actual chance of getting positively surprised.

I think the smart thing to do is not download the first version of the remake, but the second version when they've fixed everything. personally, I'll do it that way

I predict it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3GB. With good optimization. Even knowing that the game weighs 6.5 and won't have as much content. Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Hard to lower expectations when the remake has been done because of the horrible sandbox and the "non existing" storyline at some point.

Again: If it turns out to be remade just for SMALL changes overall and focuses on changes in renders (which were already top notch) this'll be the biggest letdown ever on this page.

If you guys are waiting for any kind of lewd scene don't even download the update. He already explained what level 0, 1 and 2 meant months ago so at most we are getting a handjob (with the family members that is) and that's it. Yeah it is disappointing but it is what it is and again, he already laid out all of that has planned so no one complains. Of course some still will. Hopefully we are going to get an update every 1.5 - 2 months after this release, that would be nice if things gets consistent.

Also I think tomorrow's update may get delayed by a day or two but I am not sure.
