Ancient bug, the task took place on day 2 or 3, but didn't register properly.
The only way to get rid of it is either by restarting the game and hoping that this time the action will register or by manually setting the task as finished through the console. Someone listed the name in the forum, but you have to search for it. Don't have a link.
