First of all, thanks for sharing.
Now, on to the bad stuff , I supported this project several times. It has a lot of potential, but at this point, it just doesn’t make sense anymore. Expensive updates at $30 (sorry, but I’m not interested in pay tiers that give me access weeks later), poor content , most of which is just stuff that already existed in the old version and is now being added as if it were new.
Five years of development, a remastered version, and apparently, each main character is supposed to have five levels of interaction with the MC. If we’re only at the end of level 1, we’re around 20–25% through the total content...
For me, it’s over. It’s not technically abandoned, but some projects would be better off if they were. At this point, I’m only curious to see what happens once all the reused content is done.
Will prices go up because he has to work more and longer?
Will development times stretch into who knows how long?
Will updates include just one scene while charging the same amount literally $30 for five minutes of content, no exaggeration?
I had faith that the remaster would change the way he works, and I was willing to support it, just like I did with version 1.0 and 1.01 of the remastered version. But now it’s clear that this is probably going to continue like this until he eventually drops it halfway due to lack of interest or profitability.
Well, I hope the situation changes, but I highly doubt it. But at least my money will no longer see it.
