love that the game's dev tried to get a pirated version of his game taken off of a PIRATE SITE. you might as well be yelling at a brick wall, buddy.
I don't have the new version but I have new things in the udapte.
New locations:
*Dark forest.
*Encampment.
*Fairy town.
Two new characters who can become possible love interests in the future.
New illustrations for the following scenes:
*Death Screen for Female MC eaten by any lamia character.
*Lisa's bad end scene.
*Hope’s bad end scene.
*Alice catches a micro MC.
*Hope’s first meeting with a micro MC.
*Temple catgirls catches a micro MC.
*Alice defeating MС in a card mini-game.
*Helen defeating MС in a card mini-game.
*Mei defeating MС in a card mini-game.

It is not so shitty, just russian region is in particular situation that not allow to use foreign payment systems in most. For them the same with patreon as a example.
They quite literally cannot, as they are limited by the services that are still able to pay out to Russian bank accounts. This is basically just Boosty, as well as Hipolink (gumroad-like service) from the same totally-not-mail.ru owners, where PayPal still seems to be functioning. I expect Puhhhel to discover the latter service soon enough.
If the situation doesn't magically resolve itself, temporarily at least, the easiest way would be to ask a Russian to subscribe. That is, if the team can keep developing the game altogether with what looks to be a sharply reduced revenue stream.

There is, to what people have said, only ONE way for payments to go to the team, through Boosty. Everything else is an absolute flat-out No.
In practice, yes. There are still ways to get money into Russia, but none are even close in simplicity to PayPal-ing to a website, and they only make sense for significant sums due to transaction costs. Crypto, local western union-like services to obscure banks, getting a bank account in e.g. Armenia, but your usual creator simply doesn't have the capacity to deal with any of this for what would be hundreds of micro payments. Boosty bet on being registered in NL and on being insignificant enough to get targeted, but (at least for now) alas. Well, apparently cards of some countries still work, US cards unsurprisingly have the most issues.

everyday since 0.2.8 being revealed and that one guy saying what was in it, I've checked every morning when I wake up, and every night when going to bed, and still we have no hero who'll post the latest version, it makes me think, how long after the previous versions were put here after they were shown? a couple days? a week? more? I don't know, but what I do know, is that I'm still willing to wait for this, because it's only been improving since I first got into it, all the way back when the end of current content, was around the second night.
