For what it's worth, crashes have always been happening (unsurprisingly so, given the game is bending the hell out of RPG Maker, and possibly not helped by the use of Cyrillic here and there), but for me even on the newest version restarting the game from an auto-save after a crash worked fine, using saves from 0.2.7.
The big new things are the angel town and the fairy town, which are likely made in preparation for more substantial plot (teased by the angel leader lady dumping some lore on you) and relationships in the next versions. There are a few characters to interact with in each town, you can get eaten by a fairy in what is a rather funny scene, or by the angels while trying to escape. Plus some observer stuff.
The rest of the update is more for people who've only just started playing rather than coming from 0.2.7 - a number of new or updated CGs for already existing events. All in all, a pretty substantial update.
Joiplay not loading sprites is a known issue. Devs don't know how to fix it, so use a pc for now.
I will put a save later but I got a problem about the save, I cant see 100 memories pictures, so I will try to repair that

Replace your own files with this to unlock the gallery. It goes in Among Cults Ver 0.2.8/www/save
Make sure to backup your own save folder in case anything goes wrong.
I've set save 20 (labelled 23 in files) to be at the gallery if you wanna get there asap.

Hmm weird, I'll check it again after work. Dumping a full save should fix it.
Was really liking this game, but I ran into a game breaking bug. After I was captured by the False Angels and escaped, I spoke with everyone at the Holy Union, then went to the Theocracy, gave the Alchemist the trade deal, went back and talked to Alice, gave her a handjob, and now I cannot enter the Holy Union nor the Theocracy. If I try to enter either one, my game slows down and none of my inputs will work. The MC (as a female at this point in the story) has a slowed down idle animation, and no button works, not even ESC. Was forced to delete the entire save, as nothing I tried worked. Anyone else run into this, and know of a solution?
Is it normal in this version that every single image(icon, portrait, death scene image) are ultra pixelated?
