A few red flags. The girls and art style in the banner is no where to be found in the previews. The animations in the banner also look like canned AI Animation. Wasn't this guy an artist?
They are from the first game.
The animations in the banner are indeed AI-created, as he's pro-AI and hopped onto AI the second he could. He went as far as to make AI models of his own character, along with models of his girlfriend, and the characters from the games and comics.
No, he was not an artist, he just took images from other people and edited them in AfterEffects. He then got together with a girl and started to solely siphon from her instead.
Them making another game, while Bare Backstreets is nowhere near finished from how awful it is, just adds to the pile.
I suggest waiting a decade and maybe then, there'll be a fourth game, and this one will be finished.
So far they've only done 2D stuff (a 2D visual novel, a 2D beat-em-up, a 2D platformer), and only finished one of the projects, one of them got canned, another's become a moneymilker that's unplayable. So I very much doubt, that this game will be anywhere near playable in the future, unless they go for an exclusively walking-sim gameplay style, where you just walk around the area, talk to NPCs and that's it.
