You know, when the kids say 'that teacher is anal' I don't think that this is quite what they meant.
I guess I'll give it a play then.
Blackmailing someone into anal by threatening to kill oneself seems so stupid.. I wonder if I'll be able to suspend disbelief that an idiot could pull off blackmail.

This reminds me of the westernization process in Europa Universalis games (3 and 4, specifically). An event would pop up from time to time during westernization, and it would effectively blackmail you into either one of your advisors removing themselves from your roster, or you stopping the westernization process.
Every time it popped up, i imagined the advisor walking into the throne room, and telling the ruler:
"If youre not gonna stop making our country a better place, im gonna kill myself!"
